Does anybody have any idea what could be causing this? Thanks!

Probably caused by a missing/corrupt file - reinstall DX8.1b

Yes, I really am THAT good...

When does this error happen? Do you get this at the start or end of the game? Does this happen with any of the demos / examples provided with DB Pro?

Other than that, wait for that new graphics card (and motherboard).

System Specs: AMD Athlon 1700+ XP, GA-7VRX motherboard, 128MB DDR RAM, GeForce2 MX400 64MB VRAM

Mike: It happens right after it finishes loading all the media, and starts to display the stuff on screen.

There is a bug in DirectX 8.1. Have you upgraded to 8.1b?

Dx8 was suppose to be the speed update whilst 9 was to be the Music and effect update... they kinda got mixxed up.
Pitty Dx9 isn't backward compatible properly yet, can only run things Dx8.1 or above in it - hopefully the new Retail and Debug version 9.0.0884 will fix this... but we have a few week to wait for that yet.

Holy jumping mother of god NOOOO!!!...
