I may have been looking in all the wrong places, but I haven't been quite able to find how to apply my user-defined parameters for functions.

I have read in the help file, that "The number of parameters is an integer specifying how many variables your user function takes as input.", but I haven't seen any examples of this. And I haven't found any help relating to its use either.

Maybe I just haven't searched adequately. But anyway - does someone know how to use this efficiently?

Hey entomophobia,

Before you use this code, please grab the current update that was released today in "purchased downloads". You'll find it at the bottom of that page.

Here's some example code to help you out.

DBPro Source

Script Source

Super!

This will help me a lot. Thanks. And I guess there's no real limit to the number of parameters passed from a script, either?

Anyway. Many thanks.

Limit is 9, because that is what dbpro limits. If you cross the limit the plugin should popup a message box telling you.

Well, 9 is pretty high anyway. The whole possibility of scripting functions, however, is what made me get DarkSCRIPT in the first place. Honestly, I'd prefer Unity just because I'm more familiar with Lua, but it doesn't handle the kind of things I need. So DarkSCRIPT will do the job instead.

So thanks for a great plugin.

Take a look at the source code above. DarkScript doesn't interpret dbpro source code, but rather it grabs the function location within memory when you run the program. I assume you're using the demo EA version, this version hasn't been updated for the latest patch yet which would cause a couple problems with the source above. I'll try to update it as soon as possible.
