What I mean is, say you have a puzzlr piece, when you click it, it becomes movable. I was able to do this, but when I click to place it, whatever physics were applied to it before kick in,and it goes flying, unless it was already standing still. I don't want to kill the physics completely, because I need it to collide while I move it. Any ideas?

This is what I did to stop the physics of the piece while I move it, but sill allow collision with other pieces:

this is by no means a solution ...just trying to help the thinking process....
make it a kinematic object?

Um, seems like a good solution to me. Jsut please tell me, is there a way to cancel the force on an object?
