It's another 4 year term till next election day.

Ha, kidding. It stays till death, or till I get bored with cats. (So death it is)

Right. Because hanging out on a geek-related forum and talking about tech stuff is as proffesional as it gets. I would simply die if a high class employer happened to be browsing this thread and saw my kitty cat name. What would he think?!

If you want to make a RPS logo for me, awesome I dunno, everyone is kind of "at ends" lately because we've been having so many problems. The big project was put on ice for a number of reasons, namely colin (the other owner) having a seriously horrible car accident, and recently we had to delay the two games we're doing now because of a number of reasons. I didn't mention it on the forums and sort of used the forums to not think about it, but my dad died last week (I don't really want to talk about that on here though so please, no mentions of it), and he was in the hospital for a while prior to that, hence my appearances being sporatic for a while and me doing a flight around the world to sort of get my mind off of stuff (ironically I finished that flight on the day it happened, go figure)... anyway, that was yet ANOTHER delay, and while I wouldn't say they were mad about it, I think they were a bit "at ends" over it. And then there's the FURY over Eternal Equinox. I wanted to do a text adventure and try to sell it, and they were all psyched about it, but when I told them we didn't need the whole team for it some of them got peaved So to keep them happy they took in more responsibilities on CP, but I think we might lose three members of our team and possibly a fourth if we don't get these games out in the next two months So anyway, the RPS title will basically signify that I'm doing most of the work, and what's scary is, most of the more hardcore, loyal members of our team are working on that game, while some of the less loyal members are working on Capital Punishment... Shaky, trouble in paradise, those are great ways to sum up how I'm looking at it too

lol sorry for the rant, I can't really talk about team management woes anywhere else.

He would think such things as "ur studpi" and "where is this guy's brain" oh and + "No.".

Sorry for these completely useless posts Matt Rock, it's his fault, HIS.

Well, I can certently see why he'd think I'm a stud, though he should really keep those kind of comments to himself.

Matt: Interesting situation. I have alot of experiance on being on teams that "were" and then fell apart. What I learned in the end is that it doesn't matter WHO you're in the team with, but what your current situation in life is. It's just impossible to manage if you have other importent priorities.

(Though some of us do sit at home all day long, don't go to school/work, and still manage to not get anything done. But we won't be naming people now. )

I rekon you should give the whole team a break. It sounds like not all of them are as motivated/conditioned as you, and there's no point in forcing anyone to do anything. Sounds like it'll all fall apart man, sorry.

Just take things at your own pace and try to do as much as you can yourself. I know not everyone's a Fallout.

p.s
Sorry about your Dad.
I would be lying if I knew what it was to experiance a close death in the family, so there's really nothing I can say dude.

Can't be as bad as the company name my friend and I came up with in Grade 8-- Viking Entertainment. I managed to sell some copies of non-entertainment software, so the name just had to go hehehe.

Colin, the other "owner," he suggested that, too. That we should take a month off after getting these two games out, let everyone chill, then come back to work with a fresh start and a fresh title to work on. We're going to start working on an isometric game, and that should keep everyone happy... the modelers, the 2D artists, everyone will have something to do. I think losing some people is inevitable, we can't possibly keep everyone happy all of the time, but hey, we'll stay friends, that's what's important I guess And I hope that if we do lose anyone, these two games we're putting out soon will be at least mildly successful so we won't have a super-difficult time finding new people... I pray anyway.

I think they might be "too" motivated lol. My curse is that I have a tendency to pep-talk people to death, and then presto, they get all psyched and energized to work, but then when bad stuff happens and projects get stalled, everyone is mad at me because I gave them said pep talks

About my dad, no offense, I'd prefer it if nobody really said anything. TGC is a place where I can focus on work (game work) and get my mind off of that stuff, and laugh and be silly and all that, so I'd rather not really discuss it on here. But ty

EDIT: had some png problems but fixed them, seems to work more efficiently now. I still need to fix the EE/ CP/ CH logos over to pngs but otherwise the site works a lot better I think.
