The following screenshots are from one of my new levels in Arizona. I am really pleased the way things are turning out, but everything is still very much in a W.I.P. state. The name of my game has been decided and the storyline is almost complete. I am planning on releasing a one level demo in a matter of weeks. I will be sure to keep you guys updated.

Ha! Still a beginner I see, NIK. Dont worry, in a few months you might be as good as me. Just kidding, NIK, you are doing a great job with this! Do you mind if I post some of the weapons? Just say the word and I will.

Looking nice NIK. The bin in the second screenie, is floating a bit, the skinny end is in the air.

But yeah, small things. Overall it looks wicked. Hey, I know you wanted to test, so I thought I'd let you know that sensei beta 1 is out..

Can't wait for the demo man!

@NIK

Can I display a couple of these screen shots on fpsFREE.com? Your work has a different look that's very interesting.

Everyone thanks for the comments! Havok is modeling the majority of the weapons for Spade and the ones I have seen look really great.

Butter Fingers, thanks dude fixed that up. Yeah haven't had a chance to download the Sensei Beta yet, but I will probably test it out today. I'll send you an email later about some stuff.

Xplosys, yeah thats not a problem. Thanks for the interest.

Hey thanks, Fred. I haven't posted anything in a while, I have been working on character modeling mostly, and I am way better with it now than I was before. Anyways, here is a sawed-off shotgun I made for NIK a while ago. *This may not be the texture being used, it is a few months old so don't think it is the best I can do.*

Thanks both of you, and RF, you are right, I should connect it, thanks for the tip. I have modeled all of the weapons NIK has requested so far (besides a handgun) but I do not want to show anything until I am done with the texturing part of things, so you might be able to expect something soon.

awsome man, can't wait. the easiest way to conenct that loading barrell to the firing barrell is to place an end cap on the loading barrell and then have round over the top of the firing barrell

Yay. First to post!

The floorboard texture is really beautiful, but I think there's a definite need for some clone-stamp seamlessness being done on the wall texture.

It's more wicked work though dude. Keeping up the competitive rivalry, I might have to post some new screens in a bit! Lol

Just to let folks know. Due to some issues concerning a post from NIKs account, made by someone other than NIK, NIKs account has been locked, pending investigation.

Those who read the post will (im sure) join me in wishing NIK a speedy return to FPSC, and would like him to know that we'll all be looking forward to having him back.

Be well bud.

Yea, I was the first to recieve the information from NIK's brother, Matt. He told me on AIM while he was typing the thread. I am hoping that everything said about NIK was false, I have been friends with him just about a year so far. I haven't talked to him since the incedent, which made me worry more. I also hope you come back to the forums or at least jump on aim so I know you are alright.

Nice one nemesis!

Another "doesn't look like FPSC" shot. I love the ivy overlay on the exterior wall and the roughed up posters.

when are we gonna see a demo/video huh?!

Thanks for all the comments guys. I have been wanting to do a vid. for quite some time now, but I am having a strange AI problem. I know all I have to do is uninstall FPSC then reinstall. But at the mo I am extreme-ly lazy.

This one is for my all my nizzles. (W.I.P.)

I have been working hard at improving my texturing skill and it is finally starting to pay off, as you will see in the next
screenshot. As for the demo, I'm trying to crank it out there as fast as possible. Only some of the guns and scripting are left.
Would you guys rather have a 2 level demo, which will take longer to release, or a 1 level demo?

That new screenie does indeed look like an improvement.

As for a demo, I think a one-level demo would be fine, just to be dial-up-friendly.

Outta curosity (forgive me if I've already asked this) but when you said in my Decal Maker thread you were using it, are you using it for this?

Nice screens too, it feels very populated. What AI problems are you having? I know the latest FPSC patch seems to handle AI better, and if they are just being stupid check here.

Airslide, I am using your decal maker for my current project. Its a Great program. The AI problem I am having is that I cant place a single enemy without it giving me an error then shuting down FPSC. Thanks for the link, when I get enemies working again, I'll test out your AI.

I've never heard of this - wait - what kind of error? Now that I think about it, I beleive I have had this sort of error before, but I don't remember why...

NIK

I have had that same error, here is a possible solution.

If you have custom weapons you must ensure that they have a "vweap.x" file in the gun's folder in the gamecore. If the weapon doesn't have a vweap FPSC will crash as soon as you place an enemy.

1) Remove all the weapons from your level (including a player start weapon), and place an enemy and test. SHould run ok. Gradually add the weapons back in, until you find the one thats buggy. If you don't have a vweap.x for the enemy to hold, just copy a stock media weapon vweap in to the gun's folder.

Is that water on the floor or just blue tile? I can't say I've been in a bathroom with such a colorful floor

It's just the color of the tile. I cant say I have been in a bathroom with such a floor either, but thats what makes this bathroom unique.

Thanks for all the comments guys.
