The Milk Paton Show Season Finale!

http://www.milkpaton.com

So sorry it's late. In no particular order; I have had to deal with A COMPLETE computer crash and restart of work on the episode, a full time job, my brother, Mark and Peter having full time jobs, and all the other cast members having school again. Also, a recent death of someone close to me. It's basically been hell getting this finished in any form.

The editing is sketchy in some places, I intend to fix it up a pinch more tommorrow night after work.

I'd love some comments: this is the end of Milk Paton for a wee while. Thanks to all!

I am sorry to hear that you've had a hard time, I hope things will work out just fine for you.

I really like this episode, it is in my opinion the best one so far! I hope Milk Paton will return again sometime!

Really nice job!

Chin up Drew, she'll be apples!

In the worst of times, I always make the effort to smile, and everything seems just that bit more managable

That episode was good - I liked the signing, and your random dancing Good job!

Awesome. The dance part was great, and I started laughing out loud when the sisors part was going. I have no idea why it was so funny, but it was. Can't wait for season 2, but it seems liek I'm going to have to.

Please very seriously consider buying one. I do not have the money to keep making this show if people don't start supporting it somehow.

Fixed. The other thing people can do to help out is post about the milk paton show on other forums they haunt.

I'd like to really try and turn this into some pocket money because, just like Dumbow & Cool, I have put alot of time into it and if, like Dumbow & Cool I see no return on it I will be very very very unhappy.

Drew, I had to remove some of the more vulgar TShirts - This is a community forum afterall.

[EDIT]
And, I just tried to buy one of the shirts, but for whatever reason, they don't deliver to Australia (infact, they have a very, very limited delivery scope... How odd)...
So, I can't

Cool Jess sorry I didn't think about how they have swears on them.

If you'd still be interested in buying something, http://www.cafepress.com/milkpaton - The Milk Paton Cafe Press ships to other places. I changed to Spreadshirt because they allow text designs and different colours.

Thanks very much all the same!

No worries.

Haha, CafePress doesn't accept PayPal (my only source of online money)

When I get some cash to payback the debt I owe my parents, I'll get them to use their credit card (about 2months)

As always, a fantastic episode.

Here's hoping for Season 2! I'd love to buy some stuff but I'm out of money at the moment. I will as soon as I get some money .

I love the Tutankamoon and Spelling Inspector shirts the best (one of my favourite episodes )!

Cool beans.

Just to let everyone know though, we can only really do more episodes if we make some money. It costs about £100-£200 to do an episode, not forgetting the time and effort.

... Wow, what do you spend all the money on (besides equiptment)?

Is it for the cases of beer inbetween shots?
Actually, nah, that couldn't be it... It'd be more like $500

Lol

It's for transport, costumes (we do actually buy costumes occasionally) and software. We also need to pay "rent" to use the school after hours now seeing as how we've all left.

Mainly transport because we all live about 20-30 miles away from each other right now and theres a good few days filming / voices. Costumes are things like the SWAT outfits, spelling inspector suit and we had to buy Paint Shop Pro and Goldwave and stuff recently to kit out my new computer when the old one broke.

It's annoying how it adds up slowly.

In that case allow me to say that I thought it was absolute tosh!
I managed to stick with it for about 3 minutes but then it became far too annoying.
Try not to get annoyed with me for simply doing as you asked and sharing my opinion. It seems that you have built up a fan base and that is a good thing. So, keep it up but this is one person that won't be tuning in again

Sorry.

Craig,

Alot of the jokes you would probably only understand if you've seen all of the shows in order.
As well as certain aspects (like Milk's voice) are well-defined in the earlier eps aswell.

But, having said that, it is a particular style of animation, and most likely not to everyone's palette.

Nice one Drewster. Fave bits were the intro, the record executive dance and tne instant ability to learn to play instruments via simple one-line instructional advice.

Looking forwards to season 2 if you get the chance to make it man. I think I'll purchase a t-shirt when I actually have a job.

Edit: Forgot, I also like how all the old characters tuned into Myspace to check out the band. That song sounded half decent too. I think Wayhey was a superior record though and was a little discusted it only made it to no.2.

Thanks guys.

Torsten Sorensen: If you'd like some shirts, please email me at DrewCameron@ddrw.com and we can arrange shipping to US and reduced prices for my TGC pals! (This is because the site shop only ships to UK, but we can work around it!)

The same goes for anyone else wanting a shirt. I accept PayPal, cards, you name it.

Btw man, with regard to the t-shirts, I think they're a bit boring. I think you need to put a bit of time into them and spice them up a bit. I'm not really interested in buying a t-shirt with a comment/text on it that nobody will understand unless they've seen the show. I'd much rather have a graphic, like a piccy of milk paton, or tutankamoon etc. with a small comment.

I got a friend to design me some logos (Jenny Allen of Drewsgames.com logo fame) but it kind of won't let me mix and match logos and text and stuff. For some reason I can't mix fonts either which is kind of gay.

Duly noted, if Megaton is around, is he capable of producing vector stuff for a cut of sales?

You don't ship to the USA though! plus I cant right now. Also it says on your site that there is a WayHey shirt available but I cant find it.
Also drew If you have time I would love to mention you and your show in my next newsletter so I was wondering if you would be willing to either write an article or maybe do a Q&A in a thread.

I can ship to the USA, if we organize it privately via PayPal! The Wayhay T-shirt is on the final page of the shop.

Yes I'd absolutely love to do a Q&A. Fire anything at me via email,

cheers,
Drew
