It looks great, but I thought the boat walls were missing its texture it was so white.

Give a man some bullets, and he'll, ah blah blah.

Thanks Meako, the ships wall texture is really black and white, but i found out if you make a black wall and you use a jpg file, it makes the wall Invisible.

Here is the texture a used.

i took a look at this... really neat idea Davy, a map created like a ship...

i thought about playing around with something like this a while back (if i ever licensed FPSC)... there's a way to simulate movement in a large scale world, where the map (ship) is stationary, and all other object are moved relative to the fake movement of the map...

this way you could make a battleship game where the battleship is the map, and never moves, but everything else around it moves, and their movement is coordinated with the 'speed' of the battleship as to give the illusion that the ship is moving itself...

carrying it one step further, you could make it multiplayer, where each client is on there own 'ship' and the movements of everything else is relative to that...

just a thought...

nice start so far... develop this into something...

hey... the water... how'd you do it... bumpmapped with specular?

Thanks Red Ocktober

The water is part of the sky, i used the Wtr sky for it.

I tried to use the Ocean decal from the sprite pack but most of it would'nt show so i just made the ship and add the wtr sky.

Now that would be cool but i'm rubish with coding.

Valve made a game on the source engine called "The Ship"
