I have a request for the next update : webcam and microphone support. I'd like to write a chat engine and I'm thinking of integrating audio and video. Of course, some C guru could write a DLL but I'm rather foggy on the subject. I'm not asking for C based support, but a few commands, which could co-incide with the multiple camera support would be sweet.

TIA, Mirthin.

I'd love to see that sort of thing myself.

Micro shouldnt be a that great prob as it is integreted in DX 8.1 but webcam, i think, isn't that easy to do cause it will need NetMeeting which is hated by lots of people (me too)

Just write your own code in C++ to capture the data coming in from the webcam. It's probably got a fairly common format, maybe just sending a series of GIFs or bitmaps. This would make it REALLY easy to include, but they might have used that format and changed the header.

And let's get them to fix the commands that already exist before we ask them for more .

I see your point, but I haven't a clue when it comes to C. My friend's doing a college course just now and he's into that sort of stuff. Thanks for the help.
