Here is the text I was going to use, but I don't think I will have time to make the card darn it. thought I would share it anyway.

Quote: "Christmas was coming and Santa's mail was piled high.

Letters from everywhere reached up to the sky.

"Jimmy from Texas wants a rifle I see,
Becky in Brisbane wants a doll that can pee.
Marney want's a Barbie, Johnny a ball,
Alan wants that castle with collapsable wall.
An Xbox for Ricky, a pony for Jan,
A ninja for Eric, and airplane for Stan.
David is asking for a new cage for his mice",
but little Noob's letter made Santa look twice.

"Dear lord how am I going to put that under the tree"

"Dear santa can you tell me how to make an MMORPG?""

Rich,
Any chance of confirmation of who you have received entries from so far? I just don't put much trust in the reliability of email.

I am a hopeless artist so I won't be entering this! But I wouldn't mind opening my letter box and finding a TGC Christmas card! Especially to show my brother who thinks TGC stinks! If I were to show him that he would eat his words (Or I would make him!)
Good luck Guys and Gals!

I have replied to every single card sent to us to confirm it was received ok. There are 21 in total so far, but because Lee, Rick and myself are all away next week, we're going to extend the deadline by a week.

Just a reminder from Rich's first (now updated) post:

Quote: "This has a short deadline, you'll need to email your card designs to me (rich@thegamecreators.com) by the end of next week (November 10th) and I'll announce the winner on the Monday (Nov. 13th)."

So we've still got a couple days of waiting to do.

Congratulations to BiggAdd (Adam Plumbley) for winning this competition.

We liked the 3D render, the subtle use of DBPro and most of all the humour. Congratulations Adam, we've sent you details of how to claim your prize.

A reduced size version of the card is attached to this post.

@Dark coder:

My only possible criticism of yours, ever, could be that Christmas is a time for giving and festivity and pretending that everything is alright, rather than the use of reality.

From the MMORPG sea to the Finished Project Island with just the cactus & tumbleweed to one of the militarised Mod Squad vans (I assume) having the crap kicked out of it by the 'FPSC side', it is a grim vision indeed.

Precisely why we didn't pick it. Loved the design, but the message ruined it.
