Hi, with the Ezekiel 3416 project being put on hold in the nVidia compo, I though the community might be able to make use of some free billboard textures, they are mostly of planets, suns and other interplanetary objects. But they are in PNG format, so all you have to do is stick them to a plane, or add them to a larger background. These must go against a black background though, the planetary Halo is not alpha'ed because I didn't need it to be, I've feathered the edges on the graphics however so that when starfield textures pass behind it, it looks like an effect of the atmosphere.

Sorry that the cut is a big rough, not quite even, but I'm sure if needed someone could tidy it up a bit. It suited my purposes at the time.

I lay upon my bed one bright clear night, and gazed upon the distant stars far above, then I thought... where the hell is my roof?

This background is actually for a small Space Invaders game I was going to add as an easter egg within the game (hence the strange resolution, it would have fit into a window).

Make use of it if you wish..

actually I was getting ready to release the blender files I used to make them. But never mind eh? I won't bother.
