As a christmas present from me to the community, I will be giving a free animated M1 Garand FPSC ready weapon. I have recently been practising some animating in Caligari Gamespace and to get me started I made this model. The model is finished just needs texturing and animating...

The M1 is to thin, it needs to be alot fatter. Other thatn that it looks great.

Thanks. I will be changing the front sight on the rifle. My skin textures always turn out bad so I just gave the hand a woolen, glove texture instead.

looks great so far man. Keep it up! i even more can't wait for Christmas now! Oh and by the way, is the hand texture seperate from the actual gun texture? If it is, then that will be cool, because I will be able to swap it for the Covert hand texture from MP5! Thanks ever so much!

Ok, I've animated the M1 and made a short video. The frame rate will be low in the video only because fraps makes it slow, the sounds are also out of sync. The quality is poor only because its a 160MB file compressed to 2MB. I'm not very good at animating but what do you think.

Johny English: Christmas eve is always on the 24th December regardless of which country you come from. No, you have to wait untill tommorow as I have said before, it's not fair if I give you the model before everyone else. We're all equal in this forum. Besides, what has snow got to do with you getting this model? Am I supposed to feel sorry for you just because you're not getting snow in the Czech Republic? We hardly get snow here in England
