The only human-like sprites I can think of is in Ultima Online. But you'd have to get the game, download InsideUO, and capture the images one at a time.

whatever works for you I guess. Green screen is only used to help automate a rather daunting process of cutting out the background by hand. Even if you have green screen it wont help you much 'less you have a program to cancel it out. I wrote my own once using DB actually, but it wasn't too efficient.

It's sort of between paper & cardboard, used by schools in the UK - massive amounts, big sheets.. v cheap. Good for mounting portfolio pics etc.
