Can you import AVIs (or animated GIFs) into DBP so that you can control their animation with cursor keys?

Sorry, maybe I should have been a little clearer (if anyone is interested). Instead of loading sprite frames or bitmaps as a character can you use AVIs or animated GIFs so that you don't have to load multiple images?

Would DBP treat an AVI like a series of bitmaps and only play certain frames of the footage when you press the cursor key?

I don't know about the AVi stuff (thougth i doubt it can be done what you ask), as i've never used it, but .gif is not supported, at least for the type of functionality your looking for.

You could possibly pause it after say every cursor key, bit inefficient but it might do the trick... maybe shrink the avi as well... if thats possible
