Well this is my new project called “Knoxville: Crime on the run” this project was started a while back but dropped because of the lack of time to work on this project.

The good news is this will be a slightly off beat story driven game based in the city of new pork city where all is well during the day but things go bump in the night.By bump I don’t mean scary monsters or ghost but rather a large bunch of misfit goons terrorising the small town of New pork city.

The mafia pretty much control the whole city. In comes our hero Bud Knoxville now Bud is what I would like to call a “clean” cop in the sense that he is not involved with the mafia. At least I hope not.

New pork city is a divided city where no one dares to go near the slums of the city and the rich and famous are untouchable.

The sections of the city consist of the following,
The slums our hero spends most of his time here.
The sewers our hero has to every now and then make a quick escape or flush out a few bad guys
The country side funny that this little city has been build in the middle of no where ideal place to bury a few unwanted bodies.
The police station Bud barely sees the inside of this place his commander prefers it that way

The “goons” hideout well a rundown old place I wouldn’t even want to live there.
New pork city shopping mall a place you can find pretty much any thing from guns to buns…..

New Pork city housing development feel like doing a drive by well this would be the ideal place to do so.

Mafia headquarters well a fortress to enter but not for you since you’re the mafia bosses son

Bud until yesterday kept every thing pretty much civil around the city. Till a string of serial murders started popping up every where around the city follow Bud as he tries to unravel the secrets behind his past to solve the gruesome murders. Will he be able to do so before his past catches up with him…

This pretty much explains what I have in mind for this game. This is a completely new work in progress and will be made from completely customs segments and textures.

For the sake of keeping this interesting I will not be explaining any thing in further detail. I will however still share as much screenshots as possible.

This is all I will say for now

Chapter 1
Policestation level "Loaded weapon" training level)

New Pork City "New Pork New Pork"Sub levels
N.P.C Showbar (This thinking about this one)
N.P.C Bank
N.P.C Gang Hide out
N.P.C Guns

New Pork City Bank level called "Going up"

New Pork City Sewer Level called "Some thing smelly"

New Pork City Slums Level called
"Good help is hard to find"

Chapter 2
Gang Hideout (level called "Rabbit in a Foxhole")
Knoxville County (level called "My home town")
Knoxville City (level called "Mayors wife")
New Pork City ("the chase")

Oh the level layout will be a game based in the 1940’s…..
This the general idea I have in mind for the sewer this is very likely to change it's still very early in the development...Pointless Assault is just about ready for release....

Looks like it's in the 1990's, not the 1940's. Looks OK, though. Will it be made with the stock weapons?

I love your level design in Pointless Assault, but I think the Sewers setting is a bit overused. This sounds good though.

Looks good. Make it more dirty, add dirty water, and drains, and celing sewer grates, and you'll have a nice looking sewer, buddy.

10/10.

You gonna make a part in this game where you have to extort businesses and rackets, like in The Godfather?

No I'm not going near or using any thing remotely copyrighted or what has been done before in any other mafia type game.....

I guess you would have to wait and see what happens....Can however tell you what I plan on doing is to make glass shop windows and have the player break them to make it possible for the level to end....I would have to see when I get there if it will work....

Go to entity mode, right-click the right, and make the IsObjective a number.

I suggest adding some of the boarded up windows from Model Pack 3 to give it a more derelict feel.

I think it needs more litter lying around and more stuff tipped over.

Question: What stuff is custom in the screenie?

nothing as yet still sorting textures very hard to find suitable textures from the 1940's have to do a lot of research concerning what it looked liked in the 1940's....So yeah at this stage I'm only playing with ideas and getting feedback on them like your doing now....thanks a lot....

Well at the current pace of things this will end up as 1 year or less project like I said I want to go completely custom unlike my previous game....So I tested the current wall floor segments...they are far to flat to do any type of outdoor level editing...so I would need to get new wall segments for the outdoor levels...

So here is the list of things I would like to do for the project for new segments...Remember these are only segments...

New balcony segments...
New pillar segments
New pavement segments broken and whole
New window segments office buildings/apartment buildings
New roof segments
New road segments at various angles
New sloped wall segments to give the impression of going down hill

This is the things I have started drawing on paper and the type of textures I'm going to need this list is still on going...

As for entities I have pretty much have my work cut out for me there isn't a list just yet I will get there when I have done all the segments.

The new segments will take about 2 to 3 months to make adjust and test...roughly I hope but it might be quicker.

So there you have it this is what I have in mind....

Haha.

Another Question: Are you making your textures from pictures or are you making them on the computer?

Lol so many questions?

Nope from real pictures and photo shop I should get what I need

But it's most likely going to be dark and less colorful textures with lots of red and other dull textures might use a colored hud....!!!
