I have created seven new songs that will be in my first pack. The all range from as short as 20 seconds, to 1.5 minutes. This pack includes the songs:

Ambush
Ambush Remix
The Battle is Won
The Beat
Special Piano Mix
The Ending
Dance Floor Stealth

Attached is a demo of the pack[*]. Full versions of the songs will be out in a few days. I would like generous feedback. Please, do not get turned off by the names some of these songs have. “Special Piano Mix” does not really sound like something that would be used in a shooter game. You will probably just listen to some of these songs. However, I found many uses for them in a fighting sequence.

Again, feedback from all points of you would be helpful.

These songs will all be in .ogg format.
* Go down for the real download

Best of Luck,
G4fan

Sounds interesting, but the download is a null file.

I'm sorry, my answers are limited. You must ask the right question.

Filefront has unlimited file sizes.
Upload it to there or whatever file hosting site you wish and then post a link to it here.
I am always interested in music.

That is your problem, why not use .ogg instead?

If these songs are in wav format, then they ten times the file size of mp3.You really need to compress them.
Due to licensing restrictios with mp3, .ogg is your best bet.

Silent Thunder and rolfy: .ogg is not a supported file type in the sound program I am using.

All I can get it down to is 1141 KB.

I'll check out Filefront.

Ahh, does anyone know how to install Java? Because, I did the arithmitic. 1024.5 KB is equivalent to 1 MEG, my file is approx. 12,650 KB. I divided that by 1024 in my head and got about 12.6 MEG. Java allows up to 5O MEG.

What's up?

http://files.filefront.com/previewwav/;6676980;;/fileinfo.html

I think this is it. Filefront is very, very confusing! I have no clue how anyone is supposed to navigate in there!

(This is turning into just one, big question, now!)

Search for a free program called Audacity, it will convert your wav files to ogg, it's what I use.

All right that will take a very long time. Especially if I have to use third party programs, that I need to buy and learn how to use.

I'll convert it to .mp3

Good luck making it run in FPSC.

But, I really need a tutorial in using filefront.com.

Silent Thunder, when you clicked on the link, what came up?

Thats it(hopefully). Look for "preview.mp3", should be the first one there.

If this doesn't work, I don't know what I'll do.

This is so confusing!!!!!!

Has anyone else used Filefront that can help me? This should not be that confusing! Now, I'm getting angry.

All right. Silent Thunder, so what you are telling me is, nothing came up. Nothing at all came up? Did you sit there and wait?

Is there some way I can get in contact with someone at filefront?

Why does it say that I uploaded "preview.mp3" twice?

How come when I sign in, I go to my page, and nothing shows under "SeanDarcy's Files"?

Why is there no help screen on Filefront.com?

Why do I need to go through 10-11 pages to delete a file?

Why can't I modify a file?

How come I have to re-log in every time I visit a new page?

How come when I try to upload, something, it takes me back to the home page?

How come no one else ever had these problems?

So, now you see where I'm coming from. I'll be glad when this whole thing is over!

MP3 won't work in FPSC. I made a small program that will convert wave files to OGG vorbis really quick and easy..plus it's small.

0hhh, cool! Thank you.

Fixed! Hahaha!!! It's fixed!!!! My problem is SOLVED!!!!!!!!!!

Here's the download. I would also like to apologize for going off about filefront. I hope I didn't sound like a jerk.

The demo will play clips from all the songs in the pack. The demo is 1:13 min. long. Enjoy!

The pack will be released in 1 week from February 6th. Look here when the time comes.

I have a question.
In your license it says that you cannot edit the songs.
I have done two videos for YouTube for my hopefully upcoming FPSC games and I have used music from the members of the FPSC forums to accompany them.
If you wish to see them go to YouTube and type FPSC in the search box. There are quite a few neat FPSC ish vids.
My question is while I would not alter the song itself in any way is it okay if I use part of a song or if I need the song to be longer extending the song by taking part of the song and adding it onto the end of the song?...I hope that makes sense.
While if I used a song as part of a game level itself I would not alter it in any way if I used it for a video for my game, cutscene, etc. it might be quite difficult to make the video, cutscene, etc. the exact length of the song.

Sorry to get off topic here, but I use Photoshop for everything.

Gears of War: I use the lancer and the shotgun. Only way to go. I only use the Hammer of Dawn when you need to use it.

And Berserkers are scary as hell.

Also, I see your avatar. Enterprise rocks.

And G4, as in the video game channel? That also rocks.
