Hey all. Ive finally started a project, which is themed around horror. I do not have a story line as of yet, but I will do soon. The demo level I have posted is open to suggestion.

Firstly, here are a few screen shots:

You have MP6, lucky! My dad won't let me buy a model pack, even with my own money. Because "it might cause a virus". Well, it won't! It's my own money, capishe?

Sorry, Higs, can't download it. Computer rules: can't download anything w/o permission. WHAT?!

The game looks good. I'm curious why you are trapped in a bedroom by vending machines with zombies walking around outside...What's the story?

With the MP6 guns, shooting zombies was fun. Better than the stock ones that come with FPSC.

Good level design. I liked the room with the piano and the chairs scattered about. Also, in the room with the key, I noticed a little blood on one of the board entities lying on the ground. I don't know if you retextured it, but if you did, good attention to detail!

@DOMRAY

I set the fog to: 242,242,242. I used paint to get the RGB code, so if any one wants a fool proof way to get colours for fog, paint is your answer.

@Inspire

The stuff is in the door way because you took refuge in the building and had to stop the zombies getting at you. Its a kind of back room to a pub or shop.
You move out of your safe room when you finally decide that dying alone is not what you want to happen, so you set out to see if you can find any one. Thats the basic idea I had when making this level.

@ALL

Thanks for your comments, I now have the will to build more levels to make a full game

Ive finished the second level for my game. The first and second levels are short, as a means of seeing if you guys enjoy them.

This one is more of a puzzle level, as you have to work out a code. You still get to shoot a zombie though

Thanks Domray, but I plan on keeping the rest of the levels locked away untill the game is complete. There will be more screen shots to show off the levels though.

Sock media? lol

Your game look's great Higgins I liked the atmosphere.
What's the code for the door. I've tired everything but I can't get past

edit: nevermind, I was entering the code with the wrong keys, just realised I had to do it with the NUM pad

Yeah, its the num pad you have to use. But was the puzzel to find out the code good?

Also, I have changed the fog colour, so now it looks even better.

I like to look of this nice work...I will say however some rooms could be made a little smaller or more entity placement should sort out the overly large rooms with nothing in them look

I like the lightmapping but it does need some tweaking like the dining room light could be moved down a little...

My Dad has the same feelings about the whole virus thing, but he lets me download to my heart's content most of the time. But whenever something goes wrong he always says, "see, it's all that junk you're downloading. This wouldn't happen if you didnt do that" it's almost funny to see him say that, especially in the end when he sees it's something else. I don't own any of the model packs simply because I don't have no money nor a job, so...

But anyway... Nice job, and make sure you get a storyline up and running before you get indepth of the game...

His ignorance will destroy your mind...

Hey Higgins, your game looks really off the chain, i've seen showcases of lots of FPSC games and yours looks like one of the few winners I've seen. I to am working on a horror shooter. It's about a serial killer, if you have any pointers, hints, tips, or suggestions about what I should do, my e-mail is tttroy1@yahoo.com, thanks, you don't need to tell me anything, but it would be appreciated.
