| Description |
| This function establishes a connection to a specified socket on a remote host. When used with a UDP socket, any data recieved on this socket from a different IP Address or port number will be automatically discarded. The Timeout parameter will be ignored if specified as no actual attempt is made to connect to the remote host. Returns 1 for connection successful, or 0 for a failure |
