TI99E reserved constants and global variables

TI99E reserved constants and global variables

The TI99E function code has many constant values declared with the #CONSTANT instruction and global variables declared with the global instruction. These reserved variables were created to be used internally but they can also be used in your own programs. Be aware that trying to declare or change any reserved constant will result in a compilation error and changing a reserved global variable can cause unpredictable logic errors. To minimize the risk of declaring duplicates of existing constants or globals, always prefix your own variables, for example, global abc_globalvariable or #CONSTANT abc_constant. To learn more about local and global variables, refer to the Principles Section of the Main Help Menu (F1).
