FPS galore Sci fi weapons comp


The Rules:
1. must come with screenshot
2. make sure you have every thing finished (texture, reload etc.)
3. must have a sci fi like feel to it (like please dont enter that ak 47 youve been itching to enter)
4. please no copys of weapons
5. please submit your entries on this thread
6. Judges may NOT perticipate
7. You do not need to enter a download although it would be greatly appretiated for people on the forum

You are also aloud to post ideas about weapons for other people if they have no clue what to make


Deadline:

The deadline is January 20th 2008

Scoring:

you will be given a percentage out of a hundred

100%=Good 0%=Bad

this is what you will be graded on and how much they are worth

10% Style
30% Texture
30% Animation
20% Modelling quality
10% Originality

Put a rule where judges can't participate in the comp.
Also replace "Me!" with your username to be more profetional looking.One more thing you spelt enries wrong its entries.

Here is one gun I have so far. It is supposed to be a sniper-like weapon. I am animating it now. In my opinion it looks too much like the stock media "blaster" but please give feedback...

SUCCESS! Sort of... Sorry for double posting...

I have got my gun to work in FPSC as a weapon, however I have a few problems...
-My animations don't play when you are holding the gun(the HUD)
-When I place the gun on the ground, it spins around(I think its playing the animation for "move")
-I haven't moved the muzzleflash to the right area yet.

Please help me...

NOTE: There is nothing wrong with the texture, I just wanted to see if the animations worked(they didn't).

Hey, think you might need some more specific judging criteria:

10% Style
30% Texture
30% Animation
20% Modelling quality
10% Originality

also, perhaps a poly limit, and a texture size limit.

err does steam punk count as scifi because I've got this scifi shotgun but if you think it's to old-fashioned looking I won't enter it
