Looks great! it looks like it was inspired from Nox Aeterna, but it also looks like it had some inspiration from DarkJames' showcase thread. But maby that's just me, it looks great anyhow! Keep it up!

Or maybe all inspiration is form other games
I just check their threads and I didn't take nearly anything from it.

We all take inspiration from what we see, it's only natural and nothing wrong with it

Apart from Xplosys's clever drug induced nightmare style puzzle game, I can't say I have seen a single original concept in any of the games in the WIP etc. That is not a complaint, just a statement of fact

It is what we then do with that influence that really counts after all. Most 3D shooters could trace their roots back to Doom 1 really, even though it is stretching it a bit in some cases.

Bit right. In every image you look there will be image in your brains and example when you are making game and look for inspiration you remember that image but don't know where it was from and use it in your game. Simple.

"Bad artists copy, great artists steal" I think everyone on this forum should let that sink in for a moment. This looks good! Keep it up, love the diary idea. Originality is the best policy!
