I think it should be reqired reading... especially the Q & A.

Keeping this up-to-date would be a good thing.

Thanks.

Looks really good Nickydude. I printed V1. And I was wondering that if I print V2, will you have V3 out in a day or so. lol. Should I hold off on printing V2 is what I'm trying to ask. You have made a very good guide. I really have enjoyed it alot. Now to read V2.

V2 was just a layout thing with a few questions added. I'd hold off until there's loads more stuff added, which I don't have at the moment I'm trying to gather what I can and any contributions from anyone would be more than appreciated

It's really starting to take shape. If you keep it up, you'll have "THE" comprehensive guide for FPSC.

Thanks for the effort.

on page three the table of contents reads "Q: How can I pay a sound when the player picks up ammo?" Very fast load time by the way. Looks great!

Excellent, it's getting better each time! Hopefully in time to come, this will replace the old redundant FAQ.

Out of all the available scripts, you've picked my talking NPC one, that's pretty cool

Hi. If you want to get rid of the blood another way is to go to the decal folder open the blood one and rename decal.dds. This way it turns it off for everyone. I'm not sure yet how to get the blood off walls and that. I'll edit this as soon as I find out.

Ok, in a future update I'd like to have an explanation of the options (script) you can change when right clicking an entity or character you know:

Name:
Static Mode:
Start:
Main:
Destroy:

Would anyone like to help me out and describe a line? For example (under Charatcter):-

--------------------------------------------------------------------
Name: This gives the character a name which can be used in scripts to manipulate this particular character.
Static Mode: Whether this particular character can move.
--------------------------------------------------------------------

Would anyone of you guys like to PM me a description?

Ok, I'm wanting to change the pic that's on the first page of the guide (the man sitting at the desk) as it's getting a bit old, and I'm thinking about changing it every so often. Would anyone like to compose a pic or two that could go on the front page of the guide?

As long as it's generally about FPSC it can be anything.

The size is 630x480

I've already asked someone for the Christmas edition, just waiting on a reply.

Here are a few guidelines if you want to show of your artistic skills!

1/. No nudity / sexual references.
2/. The better composite of a pic, the more chance it will have. Just having a picture of a gun or a character won't cut it, also a screenshot of a game in progress will have to be real good.
3/. My decision is final! No arguments of who's was better, live with it

So, are you guys (and gals) up for the challenge?
