Since I will be offline from friday on for the next two or three weeks I leave the stage with a little smoke effect :
I made a small but fully playable scifi level for you to test. It is foremost a study for me to develop my level design skills.
Here are some screens as an appetizer:

After somewhat heavily reworking some base textures i found at turbosquid (with a use-as-you-like license, so no copyright issues) i made some walltrims, pedestals and pillars as well as repainted some segments with Firma.
Gameplay note: I did not include a winzone so after you gained access to all areas and killed all the bad guys you may roam the level for a closer investigation of it's architecture-which was my main focus in this one so don't expect some fancy AI or custom characters...
enough said, have some 10 minutes of fun with it and tell me how you liked it.

Here you can download the Demo:

I am Jacks complete lack of surprise.

Very nice, i found level quite fun to play. Interesting lighting, however a bit dark in some points. Maybe highering the ambient lighting or add more lights? Nice segments as well! very fresh!

well done!

the game looks good, yes, but FATE is already the name of a fantasy game...

I took a look outside, and Nickydude was pointing a pistol at my head.

I would like to talk to you about BOTB on this one, as a technical demo using Sketchup to create a more unique level.

That's a fun little demo. Nice settings, seemed a little too dark though to see alot of the details, as was said before.

Good work!

It looks nice, but I never understand why people use such terrible image hosts...

The one I use is this:

Minimal ads, none if you post the direct link. Loads the fastest of any other host.

It looks a lot like Doom 3. Also, photobucket would be much better for your next exhibit. I'm not too fond of pop-ups getting in the way of your awesome work.

This is what FPSC is good at; close quarters, small rooms and plenty of turns. Even with a good number of dynamic objects, I'll bet everyone had good speed while playing it. The half-heights and other offsets worked well to relieve some of that square feeling.

I did walk around a bit after disposing of the AI. For some reason I was climbing on top of everything I could find, thinking there may be a hidden passageway above. Perhaps it was just all the dynamic crates that made me think so.

Very well done. Thanks for the play time.

Best.
