its finally here after a month of work and sweat

this ally script has the ally folo the plr, shoot the enemy when the enemy is seen and when the enemy is dead folos the player again. and the best part about this ally script is the ally doesnt shoot through walls.

your also able to take any enemy main script and add two lines of code (specified in the script) and it will be compatible with the ally.

later on i was thinking about adding sound effects such as when the ally sees an enemy but thts up to you guys

Edit: srry i forgot to tell you the ally works best if u set his speed to 200 and his view range to 15-25.

Not working for me.
I gave the ally mainally3.fpi just stands there.
Gave the enemy fadecorpseenemy.fpi after you kill the
enemy they just stand there don`t fall or fade away.

did u change the ally's shoot script to allyshoot1?
did u change the enemy's main to strafe10enemy?
u also hve to change the enemy's name to enemy1

I think that we should make our own sounds for our games. So I don't think so...

ok. it doesnt work right. for instance i have a level where you come out of a trench into a prefab. i set up everything EXACTLY how you said, but when he sees the enemy, he doesnt even try to kill him. he rotates slighly left, and waits for me to kill him. after i kill him, he starts following again. i will try to modify the script a bit if you cant tell me anything.

@ shooter: i hvent come across this problem before ill try to look at the script and see whats wrong but it should be working since i hve aready tested it out a bunch of times.

The ally follows me, but doesn't attack the enemy. I did what you said, but it doesn't want to work. Also, you may want to change the strafe10enemy.fpi and add more variations. The enemy just stands there, trying to throw a grenade that he doesn't have at me...

you can use any enemy script you want but you hve to add two lines of code i dont kno it from the top of my head but its in the readme

okay it kinda works. the ally will shoot the enemy an kill him. but...my level where you come up from a trench into a prefab and theres an enemy in there, well if the ally sees the enemy before he comes up the stairs, he freezes and shoots a TAD bit, but not in the direction of the entity. when i kill entity the ally resumes following.
if he gets up the stairs before he sees the enemy, he'll kill it, unless it goes behind a corner. then i have to kill the enemy.
what this script needs is where if the enmy is out of sight of the ally, that he'll unfreeze, follow the plr, and then when hes sees the enemy he'll freeze and fire again.

right beside him
