Hey There My friends. Sorry for the Delay, But here it is. The Country Time Model Pack.

First, let me thank all those who beta tested this pack. I'm 99% sure we got everything working right now. So you guys might want to grab the final release.

The Pack is distributed with an installer. The first download is the pack itself.

The second is the Extra's. I strongly recomend getting both. The "Goodies" download contains a collection of fantastic outdoor sounds from "The Madlad Man himself" Nickydude! that will make your outdoor scenes come alive.

Also included is The instructions on how to use the new pack.

Country Time:

http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?kwnmwkzznjq

Goodies pack:

http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?ymyjmjm0utv

Hope you enjoy this new pack, if you have any problems, drop me an e-mail, and we can try and work them out, Thanks.

Enjoy!

Awesomeness! Has anybdy tried the segments with lighting? Because the outdoor segments I use look... Distorted when I add lights.

Some people say that I'm crazy... And I agree.

Mazz426: Try rendering with lower quality settings,or perhaps without any lights, and see if it may be an issue with your video card.

Well, the polygons were clearly visible. The artist had used the texture to mask the fact that it was a low-detail model, but used the texture to give the illusion that it was higher-poly than it was. When I applied lighting, it was clearly distorted. These aren't your models that I'm talking about, by the way.

Thank you for the download, but the both iside_corners give errors.
The inside_corner.x was missing in te meshbank folder.
for those who have the same problems
Place the inside_corner.x (see download) in the meshbank/CosmicProphet folder.
And the inside corners, would work now.

cram: Thanks, there is a newer segment in this release called inner_corner instead of inside_corner, and seemed to be working great. you may want to grab the new one from this release. And thanks for beta testing.

Almost half done with my demo-map... It's actually gonna be 2 maps that you can go back and forth from eachother (Ply's Mod).

It uses almost entirely stuff from CP's pack. I think I only used a fence and some stuff to decorate a little log cabin so far.

Dar13: Thanks my friend, you can use my Free stuff any way you want, for anything you want. Actually I encourage it.

For those of you who are a bit daring, you can change the textures, and create new and different environments, If you do all I ask is that you would post them for everyone to enjoy. There are only 5 base textures for the ground set ( less the roads), and one for the slope and corners. 6 total.

I'm going to make a snowy winter set myself. I'll post it when it's done.

Crusader2: Remember, try to keep your outdoor areas small. You can use buildings, or other enclosed areas to go between them. If I get the time I'll build a map, and tutorial.

It is small; I just use trees to keep the player from running up the wall and off the edge. I'm replacing most of the trees with rocks, so that should cut down a bunch.
EDIT: Took out a TON of the trees, and the first map is up and running!

You only have to do that for the Bigrock_1. You can use the cliff behind it, and the player will only get as far as on top of the bigrock_1. That way you can spread your trees out moe , and use less of them.

Its hard to see, but if you look closely at the bottom left screenshot of the Desert scenes, youll see in the background, it goes from front to back: slope, bigrock_1, then the cliff. The big round rock is placed at the low side of the ledge of the bigrock_1 to keep the player off of it.

I know that sounds like a pain, but if you set it up right, you can use the bigrock_1 to create a rockface with a narrow ledge that the player has to transverse, too close to the edge and you plummet to your death!

Well Mike Johnson sent me an e-mail, and offered me the opertunity to sell some of my stuff as an official model pack. Then I got one from Rick. So I've decided to go for it. All I could say was WOW!

I've started on my Titan Missile silo, but dont yet know if I will submit it for consideration, or not. It's got all the parts, and props to build an entire missle luanch facility.

All the proceeds from the pack ( my cut anyway) is going to be donated to Children's Charities.

OK,I've checked, and there are a ton of folks downloading. I have a bandwidth restiction on Mediafire. So you probably just need to keep trying. Conjured had the same problem for a while with the HellHouse Download. He got it though.

So please keep trying. Also, This will probably end up on FPS Files soon as well.

Thanks Again!

Thanks Keith, I'm truly honored by the offer. I naturally am going to take the extra time to produce a product that will be worthy of an official pack status.

If this kind of thing keeps up, I may have to do something about the file hosting issue. Thanks for the offer bro!

You're a good man, Cosmic Prophet. Not trying to rip off Charlie Brown on that, but that's one of the greatest things I've ever seen on these forums.
