Hey,

I`ve seen all these awesome Modelrequestthreads, but there wasn`t any Segment Request Thread, so I opened one.

Just realized that theres no way I get my current Project

The Sickening

done for the Mod Contest`s deadline. So I`ll take my time and I`ll add a few features.

Anyway, I know have time for the fun part: Texture Art

So, Request a Segment and I`ll do my best to get it done.

Rules

- No Modeled Segments, only flat ones
- No Subways (I hate these)
- No mass requests.

Ok, thats it, I hope I find some guys who want one. I opened a Thread on FPSCreator.de but no one was interested.

- Wolf

Hmm...Perhaps an Asylum cell and toilet room like these 2 pics:

I've tried but I always fail... I don't mind if you don't do them but it would be nice .

Sweet! That Mirror's Edge based one looks very pristine and well done!

I'd love some sci-fi segments. futuristic, metally looking ones. Use your imagination, I'd love to see what you can come up with!

@CoffeeGrunt and Krowsnest: K, I`ll check what I can do for you guys.

@SikaSinaGames (First Company Veteran): Yo, I`ll make these too. These will be released together with the Scifi Ones, alright?

Nice idea Wolf, looking forward to future textures.

And people, really don't request Subway Textures... I know from the first hand, how they look (just messing with you, Wolf).

@Red Eye: August?! I thought it woul be Juni? Well, in this case, I`m still in, if I get it done.

@Bugsy: I posted ya the tool to extract these already two times.

@Doomster: Another of these comments and Stephanie is going to kick your... Lama

@Nickydude: Thanks man!

@SikaSinaGames: Well, I changed my mind, your pack will be a single release. I had to do the Asylum wall from Scratch, I haven`t had any reference or basic texture. But still, It looks cool in the right lightning. I also attached two extra versions. One with written words (how do you say this in english?) and one with dirt...oh, also one with blood. The Toilet thingie looks a bit more grungy like in your reference screen. But it is cool, me thinks

Have fun with these, download attached and screens right here;

(to view in a darker room)

I`m doing the scifi segments now, please note that I won`t do all the requests.

@michael x: What doors? Explain mor details, please.

These Scifi Segments will be in a bigger Pack later. Its too much work for now and we have a major heatwave here in Luxemburg (33 Degrees and its already afternoon )

@CoffeeGrunt and Michaelx: Yeah but they can be done as a retexture or similar. I will check what I can do.

@All: Its best to show me pictures, so I can get a clear view on what you guys want.

@Crusader: Grad Celsius. Its the current temperature. These are 91,4 Grad Fahrenheit or 306.15 Kelvin. I`m glad its already cooler.

@Bugsy: The links I posted you are a freeware sort of winrar programm.

@beachard: well, I do not really get a view on the walls. But maybe theres a segment in my W.I.P. Game Thread that would do it for you. I won`t send you exactly the same texture, but a lookalike.

@Maxiqueen: There is one, nobody ever used it though.

I attached one out of "the Sickening" for beachard.

Here ya go:

BTW, Only one segment this time. Lazy me I`m also busy with my Project ATM so things will run a bit slower here. But keep putting in some Ideas

Hello wolf,
you look like a great segment designer! Well I got one for yeah!
This is "battle ship island", a small coal mine built by Mitsubishi
and abandoned around 1970. It has an incredible aesthetic, you up
for it?

I'm going to take that mirror's edge segment, and make normal and specular maps for x10 with it! These are really great segments. How about some rusty corrugated metal plates as a wall, with filthy concrete as a floor.

I dunno if metal is your thing or not

But could u try to make like a very dirty, brownish metal that has grease and garbage splattered on it? (think trash storage bin )

Nice work from what ive seen already

All the best dude

I would need a busted up house segment, like peeling carpets, seeing behind the wall(some wooden blocks in there) ect.

Something like this

http://www.cgtextures.com/texview.php?id=6994&PHPSESSID=5450d8f060e223ef6e20a323437a35be

Only the metal would be brownish, and instead of dirt it would be like grease

Hope this helps

Also, this isn't really a room but i can't seem to find a decent elevator roof anywhere

all the best

Yeah... got hurt when i tripped... on some bullets
