The first project I was thinking of was an Indiana Jones scenario (who hasn't ) But by now I have abandoned the idea (after buying a couple of model packs) and I am working on a Fantasy game and my competition entry instead.

But I decided at least to finish the retexture of my germans and put them for download here. Basically its more recoloring (including giving the skin a slight tan) than actually retexturing but I also added helmet, collar and sleeve insignias as well as ammo pouches, goggles and stick grenades. Of course everything is only *painted* onto the texture and therefore is a bit of scale. DAK stands for "Deutsches Afrika Korps"="German Africa Corps"

Maybe someone else will do an Indy adventure now

EDIT: I added the download link to the first post.

Could someone change the thread title to: "Stock retexture: German Africa Corps [Free]"

Has anyone considered using those in a game yet?

I am also open for requests of German stock retextures - not only Afrika Korps

Very good texture The Storyteller 01! However, I won't be using it in my game right now, but I like it. I downloaded it off FPSF already.

Awesome retexture, do you think you could retexture them to look like russians as well?

As an old Airfix/Tamya modeller I know enough about WWII uniforms to admit that Russians are not possible for me with just texturing - as the helmets and baggy trousers are their most distintive features.

But what I discovered after Watching "Die Another Day" recently, is that germans make a good base for Cold War North Korean Soldiers - especially oficers

EDIT: I feel a bit funny as I didn't know that they are allready on FPSF. Dont get me wrong, I feel indeed honored - but I would have prefered to know about the honor....and also to provide my own text for the upload

Awww, I kept hearing the germans would be good for russians, oh well, NK soldiers would be cool though.
