I am working on an Egyptian themed game and now the first two levels are ready to be tested by you guys

I am using FPSC X9 and Project Blue Mod.

Download link

There is still a lot of work to do but I would love to have some feedback on the game so far.

A short story introduction:
You are a young woman in ancient Egypt. A curse of the Gods has made your entire family sick and they will all soon die. To prevent this you must travel to the grave of an old Pharaoh where you must find a mythical artifact that is said to cure all who touches it. You know the grave will be guarded but you can't possibly imagine by what... And so it goes bla, bla, bla

Good post, and the format others should take as an example.
Game idea sounds good, your screen shot shows great potential also.

I have released a new two level demo today.

Download it here.

Feel free to provide feedback

Notes: Save games are not yet fully functional and I know that the levels are a bit short and they still need story parts. The over-the-top female jumping sound will be replaced naturally

Very nice work Scurvy lobster, it all fits together well and has a great outdoor/indoor feel which gives the game much depth.
I'm lookung forward to seeing more of this.

Thank you Ross tra damus

My near future plans for the game:
I will be starting work on level 3 soon and when this is done I will start polishing up the levels. The most important aspect here will be adding story and music.

played it and here are my comments.

Good things:
+ One of the best outdoor lighting I've seen so far here- very natural.
+ Well designed. Everything fits together and appears *logical*

Not so good things:
- some of the segments look so "painted on" that it hurts. But thats not your fault (actually I bought the pack myself but I dislike it)

In case you find my grammar and spelling weird ---> native German speaker ^^

Thanks guys! And I will try out the shaders and see it makes a good effect.

edit: tried some shaders but the spear went missing or became all-black so I'm not going to do that. I have no idea how to fix shader issues.
