Hello all.

If you were following Coach Shogun's thread on turning Errant AI's guns into sci-fi weapons, you know I made a few myself.

This idea came from the lack of sci-fi weapons available. This provides something that is small in filesize, is easy and cheap, and still revamps the gun to be something different. When I made some, I personally thought they came out really well.

I decided to start this thread to be the official home of my overlays. They are also a prize in the new Screenshot Compo. Check it out on the FPSC Product Chat board.

So here they are: the original 5, free liscense, public domain, whatever. Use them in whatever you want to.

To use, copy and paste the overlay over the original files. Also, change the gunspec to use the muzzleflash that's included in the file.

Hope you like them.

If I can manage to set up my paypal account, I'll sell sci-fi edits. But if I do, you must have permission from the guy who made them, unless I have them. This is because of copyright issues and sending the gun over email.

EDIT: Here's a link to the video of the guns.

EDITS ARE NOW ON SALE! For $5 with exclusive rights, and $1 for allowing me to resell it!

By this, I mean I will edit your (or anyone else's) guns for $5. (or $1 if I can resell it.)

They come with exclusive rights, texture, muzzleflash, AND sound edits, and will come very quickly.

Email me for more info.

EDIT: Due to some issues with sounds I will be taking these down. Sorry for the inconveniences. And sorry to EAI for useage of his sounds. I will be keeping up all original material.

I also just thought to load my new P90 optics.

These only work in Airmod and on the new P90SE you can find in the TGC store.

You are free to edit, delete, maim, do whatever you want with these. Credit itsn't required, but it'd be nice.

Here's a link to the video.

Hey everyone.

Just so you know, I hated the 870P1 overlay. I was finally fed up with it and I started over. I have removed the old one from the first post.

And here it is. All new. Still don't like it too much, but it's much bettter then the original.

Hope you like it.

I'll put a link to the video soon.

Sorry for the quadruple post. I'm simultaniously bumping and adding new content.

Just so you know, I also hated the sound for the new M249. So; yes, I made another.

Here it is. Much more sci-fi.

Video coming soon. I'm convinced constantly bumping while adding new content will thrust me to stardom...

That was awesome! Good job. How did you remove the stock on the shotgun?

It has it's own texture. Just make it all blank and it's gone.

Go figure. It's called F_STOCK, or something.

No problem. Are you going to do other guns too. Maybe one of Errant's snipers. Keep up the good work.

Thank you. As for the snipers...Maybe. I don't have any of his snipers, so I'd have to buy them.

But I've always wanted them. So I'd love to have an excuse.

But I generally try to avoid doing scoped weapons. Because I'm always compelled to edit the scope, and that ALWAYS ends in catastrophy. Maybe I will anyway, though.

Haha yeah, they are great weapons though. I've got the M40 I think.

If you've got MP you could try doing the G18. I think that would be pretty cool.

It would. However, I think that Coach Shogun has done an overlay for a gun so similar you could easily use that. It's located here: http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=164004&b=24&msg=1941665#m1941665

And, unfortuantly, I don't have model pack 9 or 10.

But my birthday's coming up, so I should get it soon.

The only problem with doing the sniper rifles, though, is that they use a "dirty" texture. (I call it that) It uses lots of dots and such. Makes it more realistic, but problematic for me, as I can create a good texture for it but it would impossible to send it over email so I'd have to settle dor a simple alpha overlay.

Which angers me.

No prob.

That was the original home of my overlays, actually.

Thank you.

Again, I would like to say I could be selling edits with exclusive rights in the future. Maybe. If I can set up a paypal account.

EDIT: It's set up. So, now I'm taking requests for prices.
I was thinking $1-$5.
What do you think is fair?
Anyone? Anyone at all?

Ok, in a desprate attempt to get some purchases I have made one final free overlay. This one is for the M40 sniper rifle.

It's not done yet, but it will be soon.

Here's the video.

NOTE: The version I send out may not look as good as the one in the video.

Alright, here's the M40 overlay.

MAKE SURE YOU READ THE README!!!

This is to ensure that it comes out as high-quality as possible!!

EDIT: Forgot one of the files. Fixed.
EDIT2: Here's why I made the instructions so complex.

Um a question, are these complete retextures or edited textures?

Edited textures.

I'm good at using key parts to work together when recolored.

So far I really like my M40. I think thats one of the biggest examples of what I can do.

EDIT: ALSO I have custom sounds. Try and find my sounds anywhere on the internet. I dare you.

I edit them too. To the point where they are unrecognisable.

I'm not selling the textures. They're only the edited parts. You paste them over the original files.

Yeah. you're right.

From now on they cost, like, a million dollars.

It's just not a lot of work for me. And it's fun. And for 1 dollar I can resell it. For $5 I can't.

If you like them so much, email me and you can buy one.

EDIT: $1 is only 1 gun. For $5, I'll do 5 guns or 1 gun with exclusive rights. And those 5 are part of my 6 that are free.
