*****LYTEFX LINK NOW FIXED!! THANKS THRAXAS****
***********************************************

Ok, so sorry for the delay.

I'm not in the FPSC scene any more really, but I still get a fair amount of people asking for me to re-release these.

I can't be bothered with the hastle of dealing with payments, or customer support, so here they are for free. They are now destributed as-is. I have no idea if they work with the latest version of FPSC or X10, and I will not be working on them any further.

PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL ME WITH QUESTIONS REGARDING HOW TO USE THIS PACK.

Best support you can give in return is to check out Bushido Shuffle over at the WIP boards, been working on it for over a year.

anyway, enjoy people!

Have fun game making, hope these help.

You're one of those who would definetly need to have the "valued member" badge in my opinion. At least now that you released Butter cutter for free.

LiteFX is a tool for creating 'fake' volumetric lighting(Light rays and so on).
ButterCutter cuts into the walls with another mesh(Creating a boolean). It allows you to make your wartorn cities actually look like a wartorn city. Enough of your clean recreations of Nazi occupied France!

There may be something I am not doing right but why does butter cutters give me an error and crash fpsc everytime I try to put one of the entity's in my game? And is the lyte fx download working now?

Yep, but Bushido is taking priority. Hate is kind of stuck in a bit of a design mire...

To all the thank yous, no worries. I'm glad its appreciated.

It would help if you said what entity you are trying to use, and where you are putting it, and your version of FPSC and so on. We're not telepathic. And yes, LYTEFX is working now..

Thank you very much for the release! Just finished downloading Butter Cutter although I will have to download LyteFX later (Rapidshare is pretty stingy about what free users can do).

Thanks a bunch! I don't go commercial with projects, but what are the usage limits for this (commercial or not)?

Also,

clear water. Are you getting them from entities or segments. Considering that no-one else is posting problems... are you sure you've installed them right?!

Airslide,
Sorry dude, Rapidshare is paid up until 2011! I use it for work, where clients probably only make one download from me. I'm looking into updating my website soon, so I'll host on my own server eventually.

LICENCE WISE:

You are free to do whatever the heck you like with these. Probably 0.1% of FPSC games go commercial, and 0.0001% will make any real money, so commercial use is totally fine.
The only thing you can't do is resell anything, you can make new elements using the techniques I created, that's totally fine, but you can't re-package this stuff and sell it on.
all clear? Obviously a credit would be nice.

[Edit] i have had norton and had nothing but problems with it, it sends out HEAPS of false positives when there is actually no problem there.

I have Norton AV '09, and had no problems whatsoever.

And everything installed perfectly, no problems except for an odd file path in FPE's here and there.

Thanks ButterFingers!
