This pack contains seven extremely highly detailed skyboxes for your projects.
Dense ecosystems with global illumination and volumetric lighting effects.

Ruined city.
The only denizens of this forsaken place are the lowest forms of humanity, deformed and deranged by the poisoned air.
Wear armour and carry your heaviest weapons.

Alien planet.
A lush vegetation covers the hills, rocks and strange formations carved by wind and rain.

Fantasy path.
A winding path through soft rolling hills can be deceptive, mythical creatures wait to waylay the weary traveler.

Spores.
Spores are released at a certain time of year filling the atmosphere with a heavy scent and creating spectacular sunsets.

Tech city.
Towering buildings of concrete, steel and glass linked by walkways high above the city streets.

Ice planet.
The icy wastes of a barren planet, cold and unforgiving its no place for the weak of heart.

Golden land.
Grassy hills and fields meander into the distance, seemingly tranquil, the gathering clouds warn of a foreboding ill.

Price: £7.00

Awesome work. Out of interest, how much would it cost for a custom skybox?

It would depend on the skybox, on average it can take around 10hours to create the scene and another 6hours render it out. I dont do minimum wage so its not cheap.
Render time is heavy due to the high res and light scattering required for each view.
As a point of interest these scenes can have over a billion poly's albeit most of them are instances, its still a phenomenal number.

So they're not quite ready yet to be directly imported into FPSC?

Once again, these are superb! And I absolutely love your single sentence descriptions -- so very eloquent and builds the perfect framework atmosphere for each skybox

Cheers.

Life would be much easier if I had the source code.

May I suggest some more sci-fi sky scrapper scenes and some underground very large cave areas? If you plan a 3rd pack with these then I'll definitely buy.

I must say Rolfy, you have done excellent work. i am only thinking you have a great and original style. (especialy your zombies)

Why dont make a model pack?. you have enough skills and talent. its a shame in my opinion that your work is getting lost in threads that are pushed back by new ones.(no disrespect for the new threads of course!!)

Recieved my order in just a few hours.

Wow! Guys, Don't hesitate here. These are the absolute Bomb! The screens here,"Do Not" do them justice . They're beutiful! The detail is amazing. Rolfy has truly created an amazing pack here! This is a MUST HAVE!!

I'm already thinking of doing a whole pack of buildings to go with the "Ruined City" skybox alone.

Thanks Jim, I owe you one brother!

For my friend Heltor!

Arghhh me and my stupid credit card!

I have not been able to get any of your lovely skyboxes due to some issues.

Is there any way for me to get even 1 of your skyboxes in return for something other than cash?

On my way to buy this pack, the "rolfy roads and terrain pack" showed up first. So, I bought that first. I didn't realize it was already released.

Even though I made her rich, my wife only allots me so much money for models every two weeks so I will have to wait until the middle of the month to get this one.

Keep 'em coming. The city model packs sounds great -- both ruined and new.

Many thanks Flatlander, on its way
The cities pack that Cosmic might do would be really awsome, its one of those themes I think he would do an excellent job of.
Since I have a formula set up for that kind of thing I think a themed skybox pack would work just fine.

Have a look at what FPSC's new sun bloom has done:

To begin with I thought it was a nuisance, and then I realised that it actually fitted in with my games storyline: a solar flare.
