Hi All! Here's the final release of the FPSC Community Sci-Fi Media Pack. This Pack has it all! New entities, Segments, Music, and Sound FX, Scripts, HUDS, Textures, and even a new Skybox.

All media has been donated by the members of our community. All the media is free to use in your commercial and non-commercial game projects. Please credit where possible. And of coarse I threw some cool little goodies in there myself.

Highlights: The all new "Interactive Teleporter System". New "Weapons,Characters, and props", The new "Holo Projecter", and "The Steps, Ladders, and Rails Kit".

Be Sure you have Bond1's new "static entity shader", and "segment shader" installed in your FPSC directory.

Note: some of the media has to be downloaded outside the pack due to large file size. All the links are listed below.

Have fun everyone!!!

This Pack is dedicated to: Torrey "Heltor" Roberts. "R.I.P. our Brother".

So we can use these for whatever?

If so, here begins the long process of sorting, filtering, and getting these into UDK...

Sure. I made it clear in the developement thread, that all donations had to be "free" with full usage rights. Again credit would be nice if possible, but not required.

Thanks!

Hey cosmic, I got some bad news for you about mediafire.

I know it could be a fake virus, yet Norton likes to totally destroy any chance of it being fake, so could you upload it to FPS Files or somewhere like that?

My Mcafee just says this download can contain what some people call add-ware, spy-ware, and viruses etc. But I got the pack and it is nice! Good job everyone and I didn't expect to see my Droid and welder in there! I didn't think you saw the download...

Soviet176: Nope, That was my bad. For all who downloaded already, Grab this and put it in your "gamecore\decals" folder.

This is an "improved globe animation". It's smoother, and looks better than the one you saw in the video.

I had this "new one" in a seperate folder and forgot to drop it in the download.

I'll post the new link to the "Files" download in the first post tonight.

Sorry about that guys.

Commico Inc: Some of the stuff that was posted on the original thread, like your crate, can still be grabbed from there. Since it was posted for download early on (before release), it didnt go into the final release of the pack. If you read the license, I made sure to credit you for your contributions my friend.

And if I missed something that was "not" a pre- release, or is not in the pack, and was donated, You can post it here on this thread to be included.

Thanks.

The Laser pistol entity, and a rigged version by General Jackson, are in the Special Features folder.

That segment is from my "Country Time Landscape Kit" and the skybox in that shot is from Rolfy's new pack, the other stuff is from my Mega Sci-Fi Collection.

Can you post a screen shot? Your supposed to be able to see through the heavy platform floor. Is that what you mean? If you have shaders on, you cant see through.

Be sure to grab the "improved animated globe" file above, and put it in your "gamecore\decals" folder.

To set up the lift, assign it the "manualliftscript.fpi" script, located in scriptbank\scificom as the AI main. Then use the page up, and page down keys to operate it. Otherwise it will work as a standard lift.

WOW!!! And for free too

This is just amazing CP. But is there a way to set the teleporter activation thingy so that the player is frozen when they're using it instead of moving around whenever they change their selection?

I suppose that this is where I'm supposed to put some witty one liner. Well...sorry to disappoint.

Gorlocks suggestions: Use these to fix the tranparancy issue. The rest of the stuff appears to be having issues with the shaders in v.117. The doorframes do not look like that with the bumpent.fx shader in v.1.15 which is what I'm using until the official release of 1.17.

And I dont know why the character death animations are playing like that. Again, I beleave It's related to the beta v.1.17 your using.

I would suggest using say,... Project Green or other mod, to check everything out.

@Cosmic Prophet

The full version of 1.17 has been out for a few days and the first beta of 1.18 is already out.

I suppose that this is where I'm supposed to put some witty one liner. Well...sorry to disappoint.
