Hello,
We are two french FPS Creator users (maybe I should say 'lovers' ) and we have decided to start an heroic-fantasy game with this awesome program !
We have only written the beginning of the story, but the game universe, a few locations and certain characters (including the main protagonist) are set up.

The game universe

The story is set in the fictional land of Vedenia, which is massively inspirated by occidental fantasy, like Oblivion, The Witcher or [/i]The Lord of the Rings[/i] trilogy.

The main character

You are Vaïré, a young female mercenary adopted by a weapon master deceased ten years ago, you're living a solitary life rythmed by more or less dangerous jobs, like theft, murder or even the escort.

Gameplay

No great revolutions because we're using FPSC, but you will be able to read some books and scrolls, to purchase weapons and to talk to the anothers NPCs.

Estimated Progress at 10-03-2010 : 3%

For the moment, we have just getting started the project, and a few maps, reskins and scripts have been completed.
Actually, we are concentrating all of our efforts in the demo, the planned playtime is 45 minutes.
Texts will be in French, but if many English-speaking persons like the game, we will make an English translation. (if any person speaks english and french here, his/her help is welcome !)

The story so far
SORRY I'VE TRANSLATED THE TEXT WITH AN ONLINE TRANSLATOR ! I DID MY BEST TO CORRECT IT !

Vaïré liked the night, the kingdom of the dreams, broken or realized, the kingdom of the darkness and the stars. The night was her mother, her friend, her councillor(adviser) since the only one to be who was dear to her have died. The night had saved her on numerous occasions, hiding her to those who wished harm her [...] its contact reassured her [...]

The first lights of the sun illuminated Vaïré's skin, which, sat on a stone, thought, she often made bad actions to live decently. His master would not have wanted that. She was going to stop her activities. No more deaths to honor her master's memory. She thought it will be good to go to the house of her master. [...]
The birdsongs calms the torments of the soul. Vaïré had always enjoyed the forest, she arrived in the front of the grave of her master, then knelt down in front of.

Then she revisited the places which she liked when she lived here. A gust of wind then made bend the surrounding vegetation and Vaïré spotted in a wall a passage she had never before seen. Her curiosity took her in what seemed to be a dark and cavernous alcove, filled with parchments and old books. A book held by a statue drew her attention, about death and destruction, about wizards mastering the underworld arcanes, being of this fact able to end the current era and starting a 'Dark Age'.

Vaïré almost laughed, apocalypse legends, it's nonsense !

Nice outdoor scenes.

However, that latin subtitle confuses me. Doesn't it need to be "tempus umbrae"?
(time/age of the shadows)?

Better. THe design doesen't look bad eather, just a little... Eldora-ish... :-P There's not bad in doing a tribute, but I hope the whole design isn't the same.

That's looking really quite nice so far! I'd just say some screens look a bit bare. Especially the last forest screens. You should find more objects to populate it with and perhaps find some grass/hedge/shrub entities. The forest floor looks too uniform at the moment.

In Dark Sides first screen, I think you should cut down on the rocks on the right. They all look very similar and also make the scene look quite unbalanced.

Keep going though, I like it so far!
