//Information

"Model Maker" is a content creator specially designed for FPSC X9 and allows you to import textures as segments and entities into your FPSC.

It's particulary of interest to anyone who wants to import his own content as quickly as possible, without having to manually type everything by hand.
Only a wall and floor texture has to be selected, optionally materialindexes for both and a name to be input, and it's already finished!

The new 2.0.0 edition has been completely rewritten to gain an even better operating speed, compared to the previous versions, in addition to this, every window received a slightly changed design to achieve a overall better overview and all left bugs have been fixed.

Besides these improvements and bugfixes, the newest versions also, finally, received shader support, now that Normal Mapping is working and widely used, and the advanced settings menu of the "Entity Maker" has been enhanced with some new options.

The old version is located here: Model Maker - FPSC Content Creator.

Great program, Doomster. Thank you for the next version.

Do you want us to have both versions in our Apps section available, or do you want just this version posted?

Wow Doomster, this will be very useful for a lot of people. Even though making models isn't really my thing, i might try this out. Thank you!

The key feature is the segment creation anyways, so, it's not only of use for modellers.

Quote: "do you want just this version posted?"

I'd prefer only this version to be posted on FPS-Media, as the old version is discontinued and therefore unsupported from now on...and btw, it's really nice to see, that you keep the site updated and running, props for that!

Thanks for reporting, the "Entity Maker" apparently pointed to an unexisting folder and the files therefore weren't copied.

Fixed in version 2.0.1.

I really like this tool, it saves soo much time

Although, I do have one request for it.
I have to manually go through the FPS files, and change most of the directories.
I already have all of the textures I want to use in my texturebank, under my user name, with all of the appropriate names. (_D, _N, _I)
When I create a segment, it makes a folder for textures of that segment. Is it possible for it to either copy the textures out of the folder, or use them out of that folder all together?

Now we talking! Now we can make simple doors with ease! I'll be looking into this when I get more time and all the bugs of the current beta is over and dealt with.

Awesome job there dude!

Can it be possible to make Double doors like in Model Pack 3? a single door segment but with two acutal doors. Even if only one opens. Still would be nice.

just a suggestion...
