As many of you know, I am developing an FPSC production and to be perfectly honest, I have run short of design ideas for characters. This contest is all about eager artists. Divided into 3 sections: Design, Build, and Prize.
Whoever can create the best sci-fi robot melee character wins the entire (over 100 sci fi grunge) entities and the entire (about 20 sets of segment textures) used for the shatterpoint game. You can view the prize at: http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=173347&b=25

Design: many can design, but 3 will be chosen. (3 so that the built characters don't go to waste)

Build: 3 will be built, one will win!

Prize: 1st: Shatterpoint complete segment sets and entity library, and a cool badge to add as your sig!

2nd: Shatterpoint complete segment sets, and a cool badge as your sig!

3rd: A cool badge as your sig!

Email me for entry and to display your submissions: dosrogues@gmail.com

Final Notes: WIN FIRST PLACE, IT'S MORE THAN WORTH IT!

I'm away from my modelling program at the moment, but, incase I get back in time, does it have to be a humaniod character?

Anywho, looks cool, that's a pretty awesome prize.

No, doesn't have to be humanoid, in fact, I'd rather it not be. Thanks for trying guys, you don't have to be a pro to do this.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE

I have bought all my friends nice things (canvases, movies, books, expensive eating, gift cards) and I intend to give you guys something, so I'll whip up some free segments for release on this thread. In fact if you guys have viewed the cubemapped lightmapped floors thread, I'll release the segments used for that scenario as I have no use for them plus more.

Good luck!
As of now, there aren't many contestants so keep in mind that it should be easy to win!

Okay I have a question about all this.

I'm crap at texturing and don't have slightest idea how to animate (haven't even begun to learn that yet), but I can make the actual models easy enough is that good enough to help you out or do you need the whole thing completely done?

I guess I will have to put a time limit on this. Contest ends February 1st, that should give you a good month to do this thing.
