Hey all,
I have built a demo of The Final Strike level 5, and The build process semmed to go fine, but when I start a new game, it loads almost to the end, and then just sits there and doesnt move. I tried running as admin, troubleshooting, I also ran the normal Exe, and a packaged one with Visnu, all the same issue.

Now then I tried putting it on a USB and running it on my Dads computer, which is running XP, and the game worked perfectly.

I uploaded the game to filefront with a password, which I shared with a few friends, so far one of them with Windows 7 has tested it, and had exactly the same issue.

It is really annoying, as I want to release this demo to the community here, But I cant until I solve this issue D:

Help would be VERY appreciated
I am using Fpsc V118 B4 with WaspMod.

Boom.

It's probably DirectX that needs an update. Unfortunatly WinVista and Win7 don't have the right DX9 files for FPSC games to work out of the box.

This will do the trick. Just download and install on any Windows system.

Ok, So I can include an installer for that within my game right? As its redistributable?

Anyway, Ill try that download

EDIT:
Downloaded it, But where do I place the extracted files?
Could you please list instructions?

Sorry for being a bother. But I've spent many many hours developing the game so far. I was hoping to have a playable demo

Thanks for the help so far

You just create a folder on your desktop and unzip the files to it. Then find the setup file and run it (I believe it's called 'dxsetup').

You need to turn the memory cap off. Systemmemorycapoff=1 in the setup.ini
