Here you'll find all of the models I do in my spare time for FPSC.

Starting off with a request from another thread :

Normally a clever artist can use the clean part of the texture as a source and remove the text using a clone stamp.

But since I don't really mind helping out(more) you folks,here's a clean texture :

Important for designers :

To simulate the text style in the original the Riviera part has the following settings :

Font - Arial Bold
Size - 55px
Color - Black
Letter Spacing - 350

---------------------------

The Motel part has the following settings :

Font - Arial Bold
Size - 80px
Color - #c79e60 set to Color Burn 100% (initial layer Fill % = 0)
Border - 2px #faffc5 with Opacity set to 50%

Outer Glow - Vivid Light #eae2c6 75% opacity ; spread 0 ; size 43px
Drop Shadow - color black ; size 24px ; spread 0px ; distance 0px ; angle 90;

@vortech - Wrong.Don't judge which program it is based on render background color.

Photograph with an (rushed and sloppy, but none the less) opacity mask.
Thought that was painfully obvious..

Anyway, here's another treat that I thought goes well with the Palm.

-- IMPORTANT -- In the editor you MAY have to rotate the model using the 1 and 2 keys. If you want to step through the plant, set it to dynamic with immobile=1 and apply a no collision script to it.

I'm not sure there is, but, are there any buildings with the 1950's textures, or segments? I'd love to build a little Motel with that sign. Thanks!

Been a long time hasn't it?...

I've been very busy lately and quite honestly not very enthusiastic about modelling.
I can't really take credit for the idea and style of this model,I was "inspired" by henry ham's Gas Bottle.
I usually keep these types of models to myself , because the main purpose is practice/killing time , but what the heck.

Polygon count : 202
Texture size(s) : 1024x1024 + extra 512x512

Download : Click

Hope henry doesn't flip out on me...hehe.

@sic1ne - I honestly don't know why.Maybe you set it to dynamic , or there's something wrong with your version of FPSC (more specifically in texture rendering) . It works fine for me.

Now for something more interesting.

An old,nailed baseball bat.

It would be a shame not to rig it to Errant's truncheon,so unless I get permission from him first, this will just be a prop.

I don't use FPSC much anymore, plus I'm working on a project in DBPro,so this might be one of the last models for FPSC from me(Minus that Sci-Fi pack).

FPS Creator is written in DBPro.It's a programming language(sort of).

So really comparing FPSC to DBPro is like comparing 1/10th of something to it's whole capacity(10/10ths)

I'm writing an engine in DBPro , which would be applicable for hack'n'slash, Diablo type games.Needless to say FPSC is not capable of such a task. ClickForPic

killing time? You're killing cash by giving that away, that's worth good money. Thanks for your generosity.
