Alright sorry for like double posting, and i shall never do the thing i did in my last post again... But anyways, so i got the points and downloaded the gun. I went to go try it out and the sounds were all wrong. As in, when you hip-fire the gun it shoots once (the sound) then you don't hear anything as you continue to fire. It sounds fine when im zoomed in (ironsights), but when i hipfire it it is really weird. I will try uploading a video of what i mean...

EDIT: Youtube is saying it will take 140min to upload the video (Fraps -___-) So, it will be a while before i can show the video sorry...

If anyone does know, PLEASE help me. I don't mean to sound desperate just i really want this to work :/

-Josh

Alright, i wish i could show you the video but youtube is being stupid and taking forever to upload it. It still says an hour... But i have reinstalled the gun from the GCS and it still has the same problem... Also, i got the G36 as well and when i hip-fire that it sounds like it shoots twice, and when zoomed in it sounds fine. Do these guns need like Ply's mod to work or any other mod? Thanks for commenting Errant AI and i hope you/i can figure it out!

Navigate to the P90's folder in files/gamecore/guns and replace gunspec.txt with the attached. It should fix the issue. Let me know if it works. Don't forget to run bin/dbo cleaner after you have replaced the file (or you can simply delete HUD.dbo) before testing.

Most of the guns on GCS were developed durring the v1.07 era when the special gun features were only in mods. That code has since been added to the regular FPSC but the current version is more sensitive (in a good way) in some areas so that means most of those weapons need to be tuned to work as intended in v1.18. I hope to get most of those weapons tuned and re-uploaded over the course of July.

Of course when the video is 10min until uploaded, thanks it worked. Do you know what changed? Anyways, it works so thank you very much Errant AI! EDIT: NEVERMIND

EDIT: Errant do you have an updated gunspec.txt for the g36? Because of the issue i am having maybe that will fix it? If you don't it's ok, thanks!

I'll take a look at the G36c later on tonight. It's probably a similar issue though. It has to do with soundframe assignments for firing. In the old system it was hardcoded and didn't read from the gunspec when shooting full-auto guns but the new system properly reads from gunspec now. This allowed small errors like that to go previously unnoticed.

I've attached an updated gunspec for the G36C. Follow the same procedure as you did with the P90.

The sound should be sync'd better now when shooting. I've also updated the recoil characteristics and added support for tac-reloads and melee (L-alt key) among other small tweaks.

Wow thanks! I would ask you how you know how you know all this, but then again you did make the weapons... Thanks a lot though Errant AI, A mod may now lock this thread if no one answers the question below!

EDIT: Does anyone know how you can make it so you have to hold down the right mouse to zoom in? Instead of just clicking it then clicking it again?
