You need to make the light make look more "spectacular" also you should add some more entitys because it looks a bit empty.

Otherwise idea sounds well

But! you should place a bit larger lights, and maybe make it a little darker?

You should lower the ambience a bit and make the lights more intensive.
Then it´d look fine

First of all...good work so far. The indoor scenes are coming along nicely and the sewer scene is very cool.

For the outdoor scenes, right now it looks as if you are placing objects that don't really belong together in the same space. Also, the edges between the ground and the rocks are very sharp. Adding foilage, and making segments that match or flow into the rock entities will go a long way to smoothing out the look of your outdoor scenes. Take advantage of the GPU instancing and pick a handful of grass and weed entities that you want to use through out the outdoor areas.

In general, some custom assets could help give your game a distinctive feel. So you might say, "but I can't model." That's okay. Try reskinning some existing assets by importing the textures and altering them.

As far as lighting is concerned in your outdoor scenes, the skybox pretty much dictates it. If you feel that your scene is too bright, try changing to a darker skybox and then adjust your lighting levels accordingly. Depending on your storyline, a sunset scene can be much more dramatic than mid-day.

Those are my initial thoughts. Good work and keep going. Yay x10!

@michael x - Thank you too and I am glad you like the sewer, O sure I will use the tropical pack, actually I was really thinking of using it, it's just that, I do not know how to start... Anyway, again thank you so much and suggestions will be taken seriously and cool changes will be made.

With an attitude like yours, you'll be doing amazing things in no time. It's refreshing.

P.S. Also look at the Green Nature pack. The trees and plants need to be altered for x10 but there is a thread on that in the x10 forum. If you want/need any help on anything at all, don't hesitate to email me.

Come hang out in x10 forum too. You'd be most welcome.

Sure, I will, just kinda having a bit hard time on re creating the ruins, hehe, actually, I am thinking of changing the whole scene cause I have new ideas for the game. Thanks for the comments and I really did appreciate it. And will email you as soon as I do not know anymore what to do, hehe, and can you suggest where I can publish my game? Cause self publishing is a bit hard, I am thinking of publishing it to others like bigfish or valve or any publisher that will give me the opportunity , no matter how low the percentage that I can get, what important for me right now is to be recognized. So what do you think? Again, thank you so much for the continues support.

It's coming together very well! What framerate do you get on this level? I usually get bad framerate on outside levels..

Oh about the texture, umm i don't really know? Is this going to be a scifi base? Maybe some scifi texture might work? Or maybe take a look at the texture from the rocks/mountains and try and create a texture like that? Maybe when they were building the base they wanted it to be "invisible"...

I don't know really, those are just some suggestions. If you want to email me, here's my email:

@Exucorporations, about the framerate? It's good, and do just fine, I don't know why, but for some reason, I get good framerate at this level, but same with you, on some outdoor level, I got bad framerate specially when I have lots of entities and too much polygons.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Thank you so much for liking my latest images and keeping updated with my posts and o yes I will be uploading more, just working on some interiors, actually after the maps, I will be starting to make stories. Then after it, the Demo... I will upload it here promise, then try to send a letter to some publishers. There is no harm in trying hehe... But if the publishers will like this, I will surely need a help from people here, and will give a bit share of profit when the game is already out and selling. Just dreaming...

Need some help here, any suggestion on how to end the game?

Need a hand on scripting... Here is what I wanted to happen, After the player killed the boss, a story zone will immediately be activated then after wards the winzone will activate. Is it possible?

This game is looking better and better! Great job!

I feel like there are way too many lights in the last one.. But if it is not hurting the framerate then why not? XD

This is if a mod is reading this:

I love the pic with the water.this is so beautiful.

one thing be careful on how much you put in your level and how big your level. fpsc is fpsc does not matter x10 or x9. it has it limits and the performance is outdated.so always watch your frame rate meter the lower the number the worst it going to be when you start adding enemies.A game is no good when it can not be played because bad performance.

@Exuxorporations - Hey mate, yeah don't worry frame rate is still good, have tried it several times. Thanks for that comment, it keeps me motivated.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

@ Michael - O i see, thanks for reminding me. For now, I haven't experience a sudden breakdown of frame rate so I guess it still fine. Thanks for reminding me anyway and thanks for liking the pics.

And here is another 1

The rifles, I put them in the hideout and then When I run test the game, it shows an error. The the error shows that the files having problems are those who are in the rifles folder of model pack 9 and 10. I do not have ymail. Maybe you can give a tutorial?

Thanks for the concern...

okay easy fix.the history of fpsc is fpscx9 was fix in a way that when any models from all the packs was not properly made fpsc could bypass the errors of the models.but fpscx10 did not get these bug fixes.that's why if something has a error it pick it up in x10 and fpscx9 will bypass the error.

know on to the fix delete errant ai N.dds files.but before you do so.get a free program called Irfanview. make sure you install the dds plug-in for it.after you install that.go into the entitybank where the rifles are.view all the n.dds files with Irfanview. you will get a black pic and it will tell you there is a error with the file.those are the file you delete.I don't know if the file became broken or did errant try to put a copy protection over it.

once you do that they will run normal.also go to the gamecore\guns and look up the file the same way or you will get another error when you go and put up the gun. I have look over a lot of models and seen why the errors people get.

everyone blame fpsc for these errors when it not fpsc.the use the the wrong textures the don't have a texture path the model have multiple textures with a flag.I dig up error all the time and yet i can't make a model myself. but learn from everyone mistakes and more about how fpsc really work and why this stuff happens.

I learn all this without anyone help.

Wow, thanks for this, I will try it immediately... Your so good, you figured it out all by yourself, anyway I was also trying to put my own models in game but really having hard time on it, anyway I am not in a hurry to publish the game. Slowly but surely is the secret... Thank you so much for being so much helpful. I promise to give you a free copy after the game is done.

Oh by the way, something is bothering me, this is off topic. I came across a post that indicates the use of team battle in arena, I thought we can only do free for all battles whereas every one is your enemy. But after reading the said post I am now very agitated to learn how to do those teaming up of the players. Multi player games is very famous here in our place and I bet it can also be a good game to publish if ever I can manage to make such games. Do you know how? If not, well it's ok, at least I tried asking you. Again, thank you so much for being such a cool mate here in FPSC.
