Right, will give this a bash once I get back from walking the dog. As a biker, obviously well known for my loop the loops, I will report back on the realism. looks good, will play shortly.

Edit: Well I can report back this is just like riding in real life. It's uncanny. At first the wheel changing thing is a head fudge and I find myself 'wtf'ing quite a lot, but once I got used to it it's quite a novel concept and the game becomes a puzzle game as much as an arcade game.

Really missing the sound effects and a 'ryder' seems like a necessary addition.

I like the sci-fi twist to the visuals. Reminds me of tron. Maybe a more light-cycle styled bike would work much better?

Physics feels maybe a bit too fast, or the bike feels a tiny bit too jerky. Less instant wheelyage would feel better imo, although the actual bike speed feels about right.

Level difficulty doesn't seem to have an obvious progression, but maybe you want the easier levels inbetween the harder ones to act as downtime.

I'd like to see some bigger levels if possible, and my favourite levels are the really fast longer ones. Anyway, played them all and got through it in about 15 minutes.

Good twist on this bike obstacle formula. I like it. Good stuff.

Thanks for the comments Fallout,

I'll definitely be smoothing out the learning curve. I'm not going to make the same mistake I made with Neon Bunniez
I was going to do a lightcycle style, I actually made the sprites and everything, but there are definite Copyright issues with that.

SFX will be coming. I'm still working through getting the control system smooth and clean.

I'll upload an APK soon

Edit: I'll probably replace the motorbike with a dune buggy to get around the rider problem.

I don't think the Tron brand would be interested in stopping you making a game with a bike that looks vaguely similar in a sci-fi setting. You're not nicking the name. For me personally, the idea of pulling wheelies on bikes makes a bit more sense in my game head, although I've seen a monster truck game like this, and that 'made sense' as well. Personally I'd go for it, but if you think a buggy is best then I'm sure that'll work just as well.

I'll give the APK a bash later on and see what the controls are like.

Edit: Out of interest and if you don't mind answering, do you make all these games for fun or are you attempting to monetize them?

I'm just making them for fun, but some monetization would be a nice addition

I like this, some really nice additions to the old 2D bike format and a lot less frustrating than some of those games.

I think you'd have a good chance of making money with a 3-pack of neon games, this, bunnies, maybe a shooter or something like that. There are so many games like this that it would be really tough to be visible, but as a themed collection I think it would sell pretty easily.

I am the one who knocks...

Ok, thanks for the encouragement
I've already gone for a number of paper themed apps (Dodge those Balls, Slash those Balls and Gravity Falls)

New APK for testing!

I've smoothed out the learning curve HEAPS, as well as put in an in-game tut.

Please try the attached APK and tell me what you think.

[if there are any levels which you think are to hard for how close they are to the start of the game, please post their level number and I'll fix 'em]

Looking good, nice trailer. Did you make it yourself? If so what software did you use?

I really like the look of the neon motif you use. It looks sharp. This game's got an interesting concept. Keep up the good work!

I made the trailer myself with Videopad.

All the titles were made in gimp and use Ethnocentric for the font
The footage was captured with Fraps. And the music came from Incompetech.com

Thanks for the encouragement! The main problem I think is trying to explain the concept.

Van B, do you mind if I quote you on this in the Google Play Description?

If that's fine, do you have a website, or something official looking that I could quote you from?

Something like this
