Finally... after, kind of ages of writing, I think my tutorial is ready to be released. At first I was going to write a huge tut covering practically all the topics in DBPro, but that would take too long and too many people would be suffering from lack of information for too long. So here it is, The Basics of DBpro Tutorial, by me. Contact me below with any questions/advice etc. Read the introduction for more information...

CURRENT TOPICS COVERED:
- Outputting text
- Shapes
- Variables
- Input from user
- Arithmetic operators
- Boolean operators
- Relational operators and IF statement
- Loops
- Select-Case statements
- Arrays
- Multidimensional arrays
- Data statements
- More on keyboard input
- Mouse input and manipulation
- Sub-routines
- Functions
- More on strings
- Declaring variables
- User defined types
- File handling
- And more to come...

Nice one Hamish.

Just a note to others - download the file by right-clicking and selecting 'save-as', otherwise you might get redirected by freewebs.

I tried downloading the tutorial and got "The site was not found. Make sure the address is correct and try again" message.

Sure thing . I plan on doing something on 3D next if I do anything. Just I think people buy DB for the 3D aspect rather than 2D.

2D is still a fun and can make good side scroller and adventure with better puts not just graphics. so a 2D won would be good.
but i'm not saying 3D is bad though.

Yeah I know, but most people buy DBPro for it's 3D side. I think.

I just wanted to say that you are a wonderful man! I have found your tutorial very concise and readable. I look forward to your 3D series as I am sure it will be equally informative...Good Work!

Thanks, but I'm not promising anything, it's my own free time i'm using to do this, and if I'm not enjoying it then I probably won't do it. But I hope I do, I'm just not making any false promises .
