I've got a working shotgun! What was needed:
*Modified GunSpec
*Two new Sounds
*Updated EXE

I've had the pump part since before my new exe, infact I might give that away soon. But anyway, the new exe fixed the reloading. Ex: shoot once, reloads 1 shot, shoot 6 times, reloads 6 shots. Sound cool? Well for proof, here is a 4.something MB video. So far this works really well! YA!

Thanks! I'm still deciding wether or not to release it - I might just release the pump, cause you don't need a new exe for that. However you do need a new sound but anyway...

Now I've got to make it so clicking interupts the proccess (ex: load 4 shells, click, so don't load next 4 and istead gives oppurtinity to fire) like in Half Life and most other games with shotguns. All I probally need to do is add something to one line.

Wow, I like how the shells careen up the chamber. Makes me wanna break out my brother's Italian 12 gauge.

Or more as you fixed the original shotgun. Note that Rich said it only carrys 6 shells (sees an 8 reload)

although 9 fires at once is a means for overdamage.

Stupid part is that FPSC bullets do NOT fire at angles. This means that the shot gun will shoot like it does upclose and far away. Well little difference.

I didn't make the Model or animation, it's the one from FPSC. And, as a christmas present: The pump!

New Gunspec:


Plus new sound.

EDIT: Just to clear it does not need the new exe to pump. And I changed the reloadqty to 6 as stated above.

It doesnt show all the shells going in, it puts in one shell then the gun is full. Is there more that will be released for this later?

Well, Merranvo does really good FPI scripting - I'm not sure I'm so close to him on that yet His AI is WAY better than mine so far! My latest AI isn't as good as his. I struggle just to try and make it so they don't run around helplessly.

@MDK: The gunspec there is for just the pump, not the extra shell thing yet. That requires a new exe. I'm still thinking on that

It should reload normally, as said above, the release is ONLY the pump action!

pallmanni I use 3dsmax quite a lot, you should be able to find a plugin to export to .x, but i don´t know about importing, since i am stuck with v3.0, and i can´t find one for v3.0

and conner looking gret plz release the .exe

may god have mercy upon my enemies, I sure as hell won´t.

the reload thing is very cool, but the pump is old hat. Fixing the pump was released ages ago. I love the new reload tho. shweet.

I'm sorry I haven't got the exe out, I noticed the fourm now has up to 50 megs so I could upload it now, but I don't have it here in New Jersey. I'll make an improved version with DBP 6.2.

For the reload. It needed a new exe.

Could a mod lock this thread? It's old and I'll make a new one when I peice together a new update so the shotgun works well. I think I'll make it part of my own 'Riker 9' except I'll release it in sections for the demanding community lol
