Was wondering if there's now a fix for this bug? I am trying the exact same thing here as mentioned above.
make object box 17,100,100,100
position object 17,300,100,0
load animation "images/realearthspin.avi",1
play animation to image 1,3002,0,0,animation width(1),animation height(1)
texture object 17,3002
set object 17,1,0,0,1,0,0,0
The play animation to image command still pops up the active movie player and prevents DBPro from working properly. Anyone know a way to load the avi files to a texture without dividing up the frames and making separate images?
