Hello everyone Matthew here im stuck with a problem , please don't rip my head of no clue where this would fit.

How can i add an In Game options sub menu and code setting in FPSC ?
How can i register GUI X9? links are dead.
there where some leftover data in the GUIX9 folder what are those for ?

I wish to add an options sub menu like all other games it was a noticeable missing feature of the Crimson Metal game as well.

I.E
* New Game
*Load Game
*OPTIONS > Sub-menu
* Quit Game

There where references to invert mouse , texture and anti aliasing references too.

The biggest problem is if i don't have proper Options menu people will note and write it off as a major negative.
This is the second biggest problem of FPSC in general.

And no i don't want to use third party external launchers that die on newer windows Version I.E
the awful Anderson Chuthulu game.

I feel your pain... trust me, but FPSC is one of those programs that dies on newer Windows versions. It is, after all, nearly fifteen years old. FPSC Games don't run in Windows 10 unless you click "Run anyway" after the warning. In time, as with all software, they will refuse to run at all.

As for your menu (nice concept image) I'm afraid you'll have to code that into the program yourself. It's not something that is available for us end users to do. FPSC is no longer supported and there are only a handful of users left here but perhaps one of the Dark Basic gurus will take on the task?

Fpsc asks for permissions due to the fact the program reads and writes this is a protection system in windows 10 .

The options are in fact in the source already but you had to pay for the full version of guix9 to get them options . The only way is to make all the buttons and change the setup is to do it yourself by editing it.

As for 3rd party launchers there a few good ones that are updated to be compatible with windows 10 like my Vishnu studio that comes with a Sep app for settings/options.

There also game launcher creator that has many options and works well in windows 10.

What ever you go for best of luck.
