I'd like to be able to use a switch to turn a decal (steam jet) on and off. I've tried adding
:activated=0:setalphafade=0
:activated=1:setalphafade=100
to the decal.fpi but it doesn't seem to work.

Is there anything else I need to do?

Thanks in advance

Thanks

You seem to be a bit of an authority on FPSC (I've seen some of your stuff), could you not answer my question?

If you have a better idea for a forum name instead of one that doesn't violate the AUP please e-mail me or you can keep this one for all I care.
I don't know why people pick the names they do sometimes...
Thanks for the heads up,Butters...if you hadn't posted that I might have missed that.

Just in case anyone is interested, I worked it out.

:state=1,activated=0:state=2,rundecal=-1

Looks great! Just one question, how do you set it to be activated by
a switch or trigger zone?

Lots of Phoenix to kill...so little time.
