Hello everyone,

I recently had an absolutely ingenious(in theory ) idea for an invention, so I'm buying the necessary parts to prototype it. Right now I'm trying to find a decently priced lcd screen, as cheap as possible, and below $50. The size needs to be somewhat large, around 3/4 of an average laptop screen size. Also, I'm looking for an incredibly cheap micro controller. Any help in finding these is greatly appreciated. Cheers.

No, more like an incredibly simplified laptop. I need lcd because it has to be portable, but It doesn't need to be color or anything.

No touch at all. Just as long as it can display text, and is large enough, its fine.

Sometimes you can find lcd screens on e-bay, but who knows
if they are any good or documentation around.
