no, they are not good enough to sell.
did you even make them? or did you just fill in a square with a texture that came with your program and recolour it?

To be honest. I wouldn't use them if they were free. Sorry to sound rude.

People are able to sprite better than that sorry. Although, with some work, you will be able to get better...I recommend Photoshop CS

I took these with a cheap camera, I don't have enough $ right now, but thanks for the comments. I will consider photo shop.

To answer your question, no, those are not good enough to sell or to use.

Problems
1) They are very blurry
2) There is only eight of them
3) They are small (show larger ones with more detail in previews.
4) They are not seamless

Suggestions
1) Try to get or borrow a better camera
2) Make more textures
3) Make sure that the textures are at least 512x512
4) There are various ways to make them seamless in photo editing programs and I suggest you get a cheap or free one to make them seamless

Good luck making more textures and segments.

I don't consider this thread jacking but if you do I'll delete it. For now, here's a tutorial on making stuff seamless in Paint (yes you can!)
1. Open the texture in Paint.
2. Use the Select tool to grab half the image.
3. Press Ctrl+R. Now select Flip Horizontal and click OK.
4. Look in glory at ze seamless texture! (I think that's how you do it anyway...)
Correct me if I'm wrong.

@ Phlum
that will make it seamless horizontaly. If it's a brick texture, you will also want it vertically, which would involve taking a horizontal strip, copying, pasting, and flipping the paste vertically.

and no, I wouldn't buy or use those textures even if they were 512 because they look sort of cartoonish and unrealistic, but do stick at it, it was just a first attempt.

If you are going to make textures, I suggest taking photos of things with more colors and detail. Like instead of a plain yellow wall, a half-yellow-half-brick wall.

Those of you who are recommending PhotoShop should also let him know that it costs over $500 (for those of you who own it legitimately). I suggest you check out the GIMP, it's free and similar to Photoshop (less bells and whistles though). There is also Paint Shop Pro (what I've used for sometime now), which is under $100 (there's also a free program that will convert Photoshop grunge brushes for use with Paint Shop Pro).
