tomb hunter-

STORY- every day ricky trys to find a hidden place to find tresure
but he has no luck until one day a group of sinatists are heading down in to 10 tombs he instanlyed joined up in hopes of finding tresure but he is in for in. equpied with jons pistol he heads down in to the frist tomb

heres a pic from level 3 boss STORY SO FAR

after geting out of the first tomb they took 2 days to pack up then they headed to the next tomb. level 2. as they where leaveing tomb 2 something crashed through the ceiling and killed one of the sinatists or did it...... LEVEL 3 BOSS

Well it's inside a tomb. There isn't very much in a tomb from the knowledge I have. Maybe a few statues. But there isn't going to be any streetlamps or computers with auras coming behind them. I think he is making a good tomb. Adding statues would give it some 'UMPH' though.

It can't be a very deep "tomb" if you can see the sky right above you in screen two. You could just walk over there and drop in, not too secret if you ask me

He's right, have you ever played oblivion? Making a tomb like that would be the icing on the cake. Build a nice sense of foreboding, you know?

Well, looks good, I think you should work on creating a moody, creepy atmosphere. Unless you don't want that...

i had a idea for the end of level 5 you get traped and your being sent to a base in a helecopter and you need to need to get out of there im workin on level 4 right now

i may AND THIS IS A BIG MAY becuse i might not. i could sell this for at least 1$ U.S money but it depends on how you like the demo if this sells it will make me start beleaveing in my self again and i can start makeing better games... im not going to show a pic of level 5 or i will give a way the end of the demo but heres a pic of level 6 your in the helecopter becuse you have bean captured

the 7th level is in the full versoin and i think i will sell it but only for 1 U.S doller but i need your help becuse im going to release a 5 level demo and if you tell me its a good enofe game i will sell it for 1 US doller

IU would think of having more levels to sell the game, haveing 7 rather than 5 won't make people pay.

The demo should be around 3 levels, and the full game around 10. I'm sure that then some people would buy for a dollar.

did you try the demo and the full game is not 7 levels long im thinking of makeing it 20 levels long becuse of being in the same tomb for 2 levels some times like levels 2 and 3- tomb 3 is in the beging of level 4- and tomb 10 will be on level 19 going in to the last boss on 20 that will make it sell

i have not started on makeing level 8 yet BECUSE OF SCHOOL but i will start when i get home... got to go for now see ya

Oh yer 20 levels will make you more than that, maybe $3-$5 if your lucky.

sorry that just made me confused, I thought you meant only 7 levels.


EDIT:

OK I downloaded and played it, heres a list of good and bad points.

Good:
-I loved the ending
-good use of custom media
-nice light mapping

Bad:
-why is there camra studio lights in a tomb?
-Why can you see the sky out the top? not much of a "tomb feel"
-Level 3 was soooooooo boring, never have just boss levels, also the scientist didn't really fit in with the feel of a tomb.
-The glass gimic was good at first, but got repetitive
-Way too short, completed all five levels in 7 minutes, level 1 took me about 15 seconds.
-Way too easy, I never died once


Overall To be honest it wasn't all that great, an original idea, but you need to work on it.

I only really enjoyed the last 2 levels, The others were boring.
Best Bit: The ending and the glass walls
Worst Bit: Too many of the glass walls made it repetitive.

Work A bit harder and you'll have something great there.

Nobody will pay for this game.

Everything was laggy.

Level 1 had lightmapping problems.

Why were there studio lights in a tomb in level 2, as tyrano man said?

Level 3 was not fun. Why were there iron things (the name escapes me) falling from the sky? Was that supposed to be a boss battle? I sat there just clicking while watching T.V. Intensely short too. How did you get in there?

Level 4 was boring too. Those crates blocking the hallway? I shot them and blood came out. Too dark. I fell in the lava and there was no way to get out. The player just lost health for like 30 seconds until he died.

Level 5 was bad. It had horrible z-clashing issues. Don't you test your levels? Why do you just happen to fall into a cage? No trapdoor? And I killed the guy when I fell. The SAS soldier.

There was too many glass walls / floors. The wall textures were also overused.

There is no benefit to picking up the items. They are just there.

The level ending with you picking up those statues (I forgot which one). I couldn't even get all of the statues before the level ended. They basically were unnecessary dynamic entities.

Did you know that you can see the test game stuff on the bottom of the title screen?

Better clean this game up if you want to sell it.

i didn't played your game but in the pictures
some of them look good and some of them not.
What i would do is place more statue's, pilars and such.
And i dont know where exactly the tomb is but i think it would be better to edit the texture or make a new one with moss so the tomb looks very old...
And maybe some broken stuff.

And i dont want to insult you but i think edit the storyline
would also be better
not that he is searching for treasures and all of a sudden he needs
to fight monsters there must be a link...

Hoping to see more of this game!

You cannot sell this game while using the textures that you are using.

The textures are from Simland's Free Egyptian Texture Package, which are available for free for non-commercial use. You cannot use these textures in a project which profits, as stated on the website:
