Newcomers DBPro Corner / Help with loading images

I know how to load them and im fairly good at this program. but i keep running into the problem with loading a lousy image.

im using the Load Image "image.bmp",1
and i keep getting a runtime error saying it cant load the image. any ideas?

Are you sure the image your trying to load is a BMP, or is in right location. If you put the image in a folder your have to write Load Image "folder/image.bmp",1.

Also, if you are using the image mainly for 2D work you need to speicfy an additional ,1 flag on end of command to retain pixel perfection, otherwise image will be blurry.

LOAD IMAGE "whatever.BMP",1,1

Also,i sometimes have that when running the exe from the Build exe\execute button.

That bugs me,but i just let it build the .exe and then execute it myself.

ya ive done all of that, and i made sure it was a bitmap. and i always create and exe and load it and it still gives me that problem.

ok problem solved, i figured out my problem. i saved the image again as bitmap in paint and now its working like a charm. thanks for ur help guys
