Hello this is a cave segment just like the title said.
First are 2 pictures....
And than the download.

The problem is that if you place too much of this segment
it will cause an error so you cant play and or build the game
but if you place a few hallways or little rooms than it will work
fine!
The FPS works fine on my computer, but i had also other segments but deleted them because they slow down the frame rate so...
I hope you like them!

Anyone feel free to give comments tips or ideas
(especially ideas!)
I am planning to make an full working cave segment with custom made rocks and like mine entities, so if you are having any idea
it would be great if you could post them here.
(i am not the best one in modelling.)

O yeah btw the pack will be free!

Thanks Cheese Cake! And boy do I love cheesecake lol. But seriously I've been wanting a cave segment like this. Although MP1 has a cave segment. I didn't like it all that much. This one is cool.

If you want an Idea you could just retexture the segments so people could make an Ice cave

I made a simple coridor 5 segments long, if I walk to the end and turn around, I get stuck when trying to move back. I think it's the rocks that are in the ground.

The segments look great though!

@AlanC
Actually thats a great plan!
I am making now all kinds of stuff for the cave
like simple rocks etc etc
And than i'll also release an ice cave texture!

@tyrano man
I also had that problem but than the rocks on the ground where
too high so i made them a bit smaller.

I am still making segments and entities.
And ideas are always welcome!

Thank you Prince Of Darkness
But when i use rockgenerator than i would think that
i didn't create my own models (Because i didn't)
And i would love to see when i am checking my game
That those models are made by me
So i appreciate that you are helping me.
And i am sorry if i insulted you because that isn't my purpose.
But still thank you.

Okey i am working on the mine segments and entities.
And a few are done i'll post screenshot when they have
a texture and are fully working!

Try removing the rocks completely, I think will stop people getting stuck. You can then add rock entitys in after.

Oke results for now:
I am having a bit of a low framerate with picture number 1.
But the meshes are all the same so maybe i did something else
in segment creator...

The other ones work fine but!
Picture number 3 and the ice-cave...
They look the best when you have your lightmapping on!
Or else it is hard to see where you are going...
The pictures are all ingame shots.

I am hoping to release this soon but i am having still problems
with errors when i am placing larger rooms!

So i think it is a bit useless to post a new thread
about this....

Pleace can anyone help me with this problem,
I dont have any problem when i am using stock meshes but when i create my own
than it seems FPSC refuse it!

@AlanC
Picture 1 is almost the same as the original only now with
a little grass.
Picture 2 is in my opinion the best for a canyon or something.
Picture 3 i dont know actually what that is...
(my idea was for a gore type or inside a body segment)
Picture 4 was also for the gore type but i think
it looks more for the inside of a volcano.

@Inspire
I am glad you liked it!
And i am still working on the segments
and on my tomb model pack.

The new textures will be released tomorrow!
With a few new hills and such...
Pleace anyone who have downloaded them can they tell me if
they are causing any errors when you are making larger rooms
it would help me alot!

@smith
Thank you i am glad that you liked it!
and as i promised here are the new textures.

These are all different segments but with the same meshes.
So you dont have to change the textures yourself.
Because i am also making the tomb-pack there is a little bit of
slowing down on the cave-pack...
But since the tomb-pack is almost complete than i have enough time
to complete all of the models in the cave-pack..

But here is a question...

I am thinking of making some rocks as segments...
And some as entities...
What should i do? Make them like this or
All segments?
Or all entities?

The cave-pack will also have a rail for mining and stuff.

Well here are the new textures!
Just extract them in your FPSC location and replace the old ones.
I hope you like them!

Therapy has taught me that nothing is my fault.
