Newcomers DBPro Corner / Extreme DBP newbie question - external files?

Hello!

Having spent a few years dabbling in Pascal, Visual Basic, C++ and PHP, I found DBP - and thought "wow! this really has everything I need!"

One thought: Is there no way of using external files? I mean, like in c++ where you use #include ?

The reason I ask is because I get tired VERY easily when it comes to trying to work with the copious amounts of code which always becomes the result of any kind of programming...

You meen using external code?
Or loading external files?
Both is possible.

You *can* use external source files.

Just make sure that the editor is in 'Project view' mode, and click on the little red button labelled 'files' in the bottom right.

Use 'browse' to add existing files, and 'add new' too ... erm, add new files

Thank you SO much! This definateliy puts Dark Basic Pro on my list of favourite programming tools... Now I can finally create that strategy-game which has been rolling around in my head for ages...
